Larapan Water Village

Transportation: Semporna Pier has a dedicated speedboat🚤 for pick-up, which takes about 20 minutes to arrive, and there is a very considerate airport pick-up service, so the journey from the airport to the water house is very smooth without worrying about the connection between water and land. Accommodation: The water house is very quiet and you can overlook the boundless sea at a glance. The sunset and sunrise are close at hand, so you can enjoy it to your heart's content. The cottage is clean and well-hygienic. The three meals are suitable for Chinese stomachs. Of course, afternoon tea is inferior to southerners. A day's trip can still reach a satisfactory level. One end of the water house leads to the sea, and the other end is connected to the village of the Bajau people, so you can walk into the village and appreciate different cultural landscapes. We only stayed for one day, but felt the ebb and flow of the sea, the enthusiasm of the Bajau people, the sincerity of the water house butler service, and the delicious food brought to us by the three meals. I would especially like to praise the driver who picked us up from the airport. He introduced us to the scenery along the way and answered all our questions. We will go to the water house again to have a close contact with the sea if we have the chance.

The water villa is very beautiful, very suitable for a family vacation of two or three people. The sunrise, sunset and the starry sky at night are very beautiful. There are also many activities. Unlike other water villas, there is nothing to do except snorkeling. After staying for 2 nights, the housekeeper took us to the nearby fish farm to visit the fish farm and feed the fish (all expensive grouper, old mouse and giant grouper). The Bajau children are very simple and the housekeeper suggested not to give them money directly. The water level was very low after the tide receded, and the children went down to catch starfish and small crabs. They had a great time!

The water house has a Chinese butler, which makes communication very convenient. There are schools of fish, turtles and clownfish near the water house. The chef is Chinese and the food is very suitable for Chinese tastes. We stayed for 3 nights and arranged hot pot and barbecue. The grilled shrimps were really delicious!

Very quiet, suitable for vacation. After the tide completely recedes, you can go to the sea to catch small mantis shrimps, crabs and fish. The children are very happy. Visiting the activities of the Bajau people can experience the daily life of the Bajau people face to face. The housekeeper will explain the history of the Bajau people. There are super many corals in the snorkeling place, and there are very beautiful clown fish

The airport pick-up was smooth, the Chinese driver was arranged, and the Chinese housekeeper in the water house was very warm and considerate. The sunset in the afternoon was beautiful, the sea view was also beautiful, and I was lucky to see turtles and two so-called ancient fossils in the evening. I fed fish in the water house, visited the Bajau people, saw the unbeatable sea view, sang, and snorkeled. Every day was very happy and comfortable. The vacation was great👍🏻

A trip with mom! It takes about 15-20 minutes from Dragonin Port. Please contact us in advance via WhatsApp to arrange a pick-up time and wait for us to come pick you up. I was worried because there were no Korean reviews, but I was very satisfied. I truly enjoyed my vacation with the feeling of being in the middle of a truly secluded sea. As soon as I opened the door to the accommodation, I said wow, and wow again on the terrace. I thought it was expensive, but it was a reasonable price because it included round-trip pick-up and 3 meals, plus you could go snorkeling, see the Bajau people, and go to the inside of the island. The meal was served as a set meal, probably because we were the only guests, and although it was delicious, it was a bit disappointing that there was no fruit. All staff are friendly and can communicate in simple English. Also, there was no difficulty as it was shown in Korean using a translator. Beer, cola and light snacks were also sold. I was so happy that they sold beer, but I was worried they wouldn't sell it😊 Perhaps because the Wi-Fi was slow, it was difficult to pay with a Visa card, so I paid in cash. TuneTalk SIM card explodes here too!! I heard that sometimes you can see turtles in the evening, and I was lucky enough to see two on the terrace🐢 It was a very enjoyable one night :) The disappointing thing is that there were a few ants in the room..? And the wood grain of the bed was rough, so it hurt every time I bumped into it… this much. Hot water worked well and the air conditioner worked well. Recommended for those looking for a quiet and leisurely vacation!

In one word, great! The water house was newly built not long ago, the environment is very good, the scenery is beautiful, the village chief on the island is warm and welcoming, he invited us to his house on the first day, all three meals were very rich, and on the last day he took us to other islands to visit fish farms, go snorkeling and help take pictures, which brought us a very pleasant travel experience. Next time I come to Semporna, I will definitely stay in this water house haha
