"The room was incredibly spacious, more like a suite. As soon as you walked in, there was a sofa, dining table, and TV, like a small living room. Further inside, there was a separate bathroom with a wet/dry area. Across from that, there was a dedicated wet bar area with a microwave and refrigerator. The innermost part was the bedroom, which also had another TV. While I probably wouldn't turn them on much, it's definitely worth mentioning that the room has two TVs. The location is very convenient, with a famous deep-dish pizza place right downstairs (though I personally didn't find it tasty). The hotel gym is also very well-equipped. The only downside was that there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, but that's typical for most hotels in the US."

"The room is big and the bed is comfortable. The main thing is that the carpet is dark red and looks dirty easily. In fact, it is quite clean.
The sanitation is cleaned every day. There is a 7-11 downstairs and Target is a few blocks away, so shopping is very convenient.
In the center of downtown, not far from all major attractions, the location is unbeatable"

AAnonymous UserThe location is very good, opposite the Trump Building, downstairs is the river, and you can walk directly to the Gorgeous Mile, parks, art galleries, etc. There are also many restaurants to choose from around, and it coincides with a large-scale music festival, and the atmosphere is very good. The hotel service is warm and thoughtful, and the hygiene and facilities are maintained at the standards of an old hotel. Recommended to stay!

The check-in process was smooth; I arrived around 2 PM and my room was ready. The room itself was spacious, and the soundproofing was excellent. The restaurant on the second floor was great, and I highly recommend their truffle pizza – it was delicious!

GGuest UserThe room is large and fully equipped. The location is good and the transportation is convenient. There is a subway station a few steps downstairs, a supermarket opposite, and Chicago's famous deep dish pizza next door. Although it is in the city center, it is still very quiet.

The location and the room offered were a great deal at this price. The facilities were decent (not too old) and the space were sufficient. GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are complete, and the environment and location are great. The lobby on the first floor is always lively, with a bar and a bakery selling drinks and pastries. It's right next to a shopping mall, and it's also convenient to walk to the Magnificent Mile. It seems like there's no parking right at the entrance, so taxis always have to stop a bit further away.

JJianruClaridge house is located close to Chicago History Museum and couple blocks to shoreline of Lake Michigan, many nice restaurants in walking distance and easy to Uber around. The building is old fashioned and very nice, front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I reserved a room with two queen beds, which is nice and clean with a very spacious bathroom. There is valet parking next door, expensive but kind of reasonable with the location. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Two important issues to mention:
1. They do not have clear signs posted at the airport, so make sure you have checked the routes before arrival. Otherwise, you may have to walk around for a while carrying your heavy suitcase.
2. The carpet is thick and hard for suitcases to be pushed or pulled.

However, Ctrip completely failed to inform me that, besides the $15 city tax, there was also a $4 miscellaneous fee, and what's even more infuriating, a compulsory $25 charge. The staff member who checked me in deliberately withheld this information. After checking out, my card was then hit with exorbitant charges.
