The location is very good, opposite the Trump Building, downstairs is the river, and you can walk directly to the Gorgeous Mile, parks, art galleries, etc. There are also many restaurants to choose from around, and it coincides with a large-scale music festival, and the atmosphere is very good. The hotel service is warm and thoughtful, and the hygiene and facilities are maintained at the standards of an old hotel. Recommended to stay!

Guest UserThe room was spacious and grand, about 50-60 square meters, and the bathroom was also quite large, around 10 square meters. My room on the 25th floor even had a kitchen, and the night view from the window was stunning, which was a pleasant surprise.
The terrace of Terrace 16 Restaurant on the 16th floor offers the most beautiful views of the Chicago River, perfect for lunch or afternoon tea.
The front desk staff who checked me in was excellent. They informed me about the Trump Spa on the 14M floor and that I could use its facilities. Later, on the day of my check-out, my friend booked a City Architecture Tour for me which ended at 12:30 PM. I asked if I could extend my check-out until 1:00 PM, and the foreign front desk staff member kindly offered me a 2:00 PM check-out. Overall, the front desk and restaurant staff provided great service, making me feel respected as a guest and not discriminated against. The hotel's facilities and atmosphere are wonderful, making for a very comfortable stay. It was a very pleasant check-in experience.

Anonymous UserThe room was incredibly spacious, more like a suite. As soon as you walked in, there was a sofa, dining table, and TV, like a small living room. Further inside, there was a separate bathroom with a wet/dry area. Across from that, there was a dedicated wet bar area with a microwave and refrigerator. The innermost part was the bedroom, which also had another TV. While I probably wouldn't turn them on much, it's definitely worth mentioning that the room has two TVs. The location is very convenient, with a famous deep-dish pizza place right downstairs (though I personally didn't find it tasty). The hotel gym is also very well-equipped. The only downside was that there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, but that's typical for most hotels in the US.

The room is large and fully equipped. The location is good and the transportation is convenient. There is a subway station a few steps downstairs, a supermarket opposite, and Chicago's famous deep dish pizza next door. Although it is in the city center, it is still very quiet.

The location is great, with a CVS and a Jewel Osco nearby, and it's within walking distance to the Magnificent Mile and Millennium Park. The facilities are a bit old, especially the carpet which looked quite dirty. Housekeeping started knocking on our door at 8 AM every morning 😮💨, yet when we returned to the hotel in the evening, the room hadn't been cleaned. Upon check-in, I noticed the bottled water was priced at $3 a bottle, free for members. So I didn't drink any of the hotel's water. However, after checking out, my credit card was charged $6 for water. It's not a lot of money, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Thankfully, Trip.com customer service was very helpful and negotiated with the hotel for a refund, which I'm still waiting to receive.

Guest UserThe hotel is at a great location. It’s near to the marathon start & finish lines. Close to cinema & musical venues. Near to trains as well. Amenities is basic: no slippers, bathrobes or tea bags. We needed to borrow a kettle to boil hot water. Room was very expensive as we stayed during the marathon dates. Since we are running the marathon, we have no choice but to pay the high room charges.

Guest UserThis was my first time booking this hotel through Trip.com, and the environment was excellent, especially the staff – every single person was incredibly friendly. I usually don't like going to Chicago because I always feel it's unsafe, but I went for a graduation ceremony with some students. Staying here felt convenient and safe. Trip.com's service was also very helpful. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Chicago. It's super convenient for shopping and getting to other places.

Claridge house is located close to Chicago History Museum and couple blocks to shoreline of Lake Michigan, many nice restaurants in walking distance and easy to Uber around. The building is old fashioned and very nice, front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I reserved a room with two queen beds, which is nice and clean with a very spacious bathroom. There is valet parking next door, expensive but kind of reasonable with the location. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Guest UserThe room isn't huge, but it's clean and elegant. The service was excellent, and the valet parking was very convenient. Luggage storage was also a breeze. The hotel's location is fantastic, with plenty of shops to explore right outside. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chicago.
