2-Star Hotels in Palermo

Excellent place, 5 minutes walk to the car and waiting for the train station. Also 5 minutes to the center, supermarket in the neighboring house. The overall bathroom was always absolutely clean. The room worked air conditioner, clean and good bed linen. Friendly and attentive host

The facilities were good and the hostel provided a fridge, stoves and cooking utensils. The room and the toilets were most of the time clean. Each was provided with one big locker. You can use the washing machine for 4 Euro and hang the clothes in the balcony. One major problem was sound insulation. The windows could not be completely closed and the room was facing a busy street. It was particularly busy during weekends as the cars and motorbikes might turn up music when they were driving late at night.

The hotel is about 1 km away from the core attractions, which is more convenient. It is a little far from the train station 2.4. The hotel is located on the third floor with an elevator. The room is spacious, with balcony, public bathroom, clean and hygienic, the hotel is generally satisfied, but there are 3 points I personally feel that I need to improve. First, the mattress is too soft, and I have a sore back and back, which is very uncomfortable. Second, the hotel has no front desk, and check-in needs to be accompanied by the owner's time, which is inconvenient. Third, the hotel requires an extra charge for checking out at 11 o'clock, and it is the only hotel I have encountered in Spain that charges extra baggage fees for customers who check out on the same day, which is not considerate enough for residents.

The airport bus went to Piliteama for 10 minutes. It was very easy to find. It was a bit hard to enter the door. I didn’t respond to ringing the doorbell and calling. In the end, there was a little brother who came out and I could enter the door. 😅 The accommodation is on the second floor. It is very convenient to enter the accommodation door with a password. The owner is just there. If the English is not smooth, I will communicate with the translation software. I am very enthusiastic and smooth; The room looks very good, that is, the sound insulation is more general, the bathroom will not open the exhaust air will have a smell of moisture, there is a balcony is not bad.

Location surrounding is crap. I went by navigator with a suitcase from central railway station about 15 min because the roads are not for suitcases, cracked pavement everywhere. It’s better to take a car or tram 1 for 2 stops from railway. It’s really apartment in a crap residential building. 3rd floor (like 4tth) without a lift with narrow stairs with no lighting in the evening. You don’t see where insert 3 keys in locks (3doors to enter). My room faced the noisy busy road. There 2 rooms inside, looks nice, no microwave, but clean. Area looks dangerous in the evening. Owner lady is nice and helpful. She tries to do her best!
