"We chose to spoil ourselves in Strahan with a stay at this boutique hotel. And, we are so glad we did. We arrived a little earlier than check in time and were greeted with a smile, cheese platter and welcome drink. While we were enjoying that relaxing time, our bags were collected from our vehicle and taken to our suite. The Maugean Suite was our choice and it was just perfect. Even though it was only two of us, we loved the amenities and aspect. The bathroom was well appointed with a beautiful view of the harbour. The attention to detail is what you would expect from a boutique hotel like this, with everything catered for, including nightly turn down service and a chocolate on the pillow. The restaurant was excellent with a lovely ambience for both breakfast and dinner. They also booked our Gordon River Cruise for us. Unfortunately we didn’t allow enough time in Strahan and when we do manage to make it back one day, we would allow a little longer and enjoy some of their signature packages. Highly recommend this boutique hotel for location, service and amenities. Thanks for a stay to remember."
