There is a parking lot. It is very convenient. There are several large supermarkets next to it. It is convenient to eat and go shopping. The room is small but very comfortable. The front desk is very warm. Very good accommodation experience.

Breakfast is superb, the room is comfortable on the 6th floor, you can see the mountain, the facilities are complete, the location in the city center is very convenient, the city is very small, it is recommended to travel in 2 days, art students can see various libraries for free, there are two in the city. The restaurant tastes good, very calm and beautiful and small city

Very convenient for walking to to university, just 10 minutes. Ideal for transfers on the bus to the airport. Disappointing to find restaurant not open on the evening of Sunday 26 June. This after no inflight meals with SAS. The room was ok but the wardrobe hanging space is poor and there was no shelving in the shower room. On arrival there were towels missing in the shower room and no toilet rolls. The cleaning staff had left cleaning materials in the bedroom and it took 2 days for them to clean the tray of spilt sugar where the kettle was. The breakfast food is fairly typical but I was expecting a range of seafood. Only salmon was available. The staff were lovely. So overall pleasant but not exceptional.

Next to the airport, walk for 2 minutes. Breakfast is very good, but breakfast time is not early enough, it seems to start at 6:30? If you catch a very early flight, you can’t eat breakfast. The indoor facilities are very complete. However, the room is a bit faint, and there is a hint of body odor. The only drawback.

We were given a disgusting room that had not been washed by by the staff. (Depicted in the photos) Also in mind the current covid-19 situation, these kind of sloppiness isn’t safe for costumers when you find something that can resemblance human liquids on the wall. When we informed the staff about the issues, who had already been snide from the start, we were met with little willingness to cooperate. After not wanting to join us upstairs or see the photos we had taken, the owner immediately comes and shouts at us. He says that we’re not welcome to stay there if we have any comments about how they run their business, so we can leave immediately and find a new hotel in town. Plowing our luggage trough the snow with no help of fetching a cab for us, we eventually find a nice hotell in the same price range with a much more nice approach to our situation. We spend a lot of time of our stay on this, something that should not have been necessary. Steer clear of this hotel, unprofessional and crummy from beginning to end. Don't think these will be running any new hotels in the near future.

The hotel does not have a reception and the check-in process is done with a key code being texted just prior to check-in. We advised at time of booking that we would not have roaming and asked for the code to be emailed but that did not work. So we had to phone on arrival and give new details and then wait for codes to be sent. Very frustrating and we were not the only ones. There was another couple having the same experience so it is clearly not an isolated incident. The room itself is modern, clean and comfortable however we were there in summer and it was quite warm. On various booking sites the hotel is advertised as providing ”air conditioned accommodation”. It does not. There is a ventilation system in place which I gather does something in winter but it is not an air conditioning. We had a street facing room and so could not open the window for ventilation because of street noise so it was a stuffy and uncomfortable night. The ultimate question for me with this hotel is would I stay here again and the answer to that is an unequivocal no. Call me old fashioned but this being my first experience with a ”reception free” hotel I would not do it again. No one to talk to on arrival, no one to give directions, no one to ask where to catch the bus, no area to sit and wait, no place to leave suitcases after check out. Not for me.

The Radisson Blu hotel is still trustworthy, the hotel is decorated in a Nordic style, simple and clean, but the material quality is very good. The hotel is 35 minutes from the airport bus. The airport bus has a stop at the hotel entrance, half an hour during peak hours. Walk about 10 minutes from the city center. Trondheim is the oldest city in Norway and the birthplace of Vikings.
