1. I booked here specially for visiting Tintagel Castle. It is really close to walk there, and there is no charge for parking. The scenery outside the window is very good, which is okay for a one-day stay. 2. The hotel is a building at the end of the 19th century, which has been remodeled later, but the room conditions are really poor, the sound insulation is not good, the bed feels like it is falling apart, and it is very inconvenient to take a shower. The so-called public bathroom is full of sundries. The ____ does not work. The bathroom in the room is very small, I can't turn around anyway. 3. The food in the hotel is very good, the breakfast is relatively rich, and the price of dinner is also good. 4. The hotel's elevator is an old Victorian elevator that often appears in movies. I was a little scared, but I tried it once.

Very interesting and unusual place. Glorious views. Absolutely wonderful if you’re going to visit Tintagel Castle (ruins). For an American driving on the ‘wrong’ side of the road in the rain, quite a hair-raising drive to get there.

Perfect Location, Iconic Place to stay. I paid extra for the sea view, it is worth spending extra. Overall excellent stay

The setting was amazing. Rooms were lovely, maybe have a little more storage for clothes, ample for a weekend but you would struggle if staying longer. No area space in bathroom to put things. Breakfast was average not big enough for someone with a big appetite.

Fabulous setting and venue. Odd choice of art, didn't seem to fit the grand surroundings but cool nevertheless. Not enough attention paid to the finish in beautiful room sadly. Paint on the plaster and fire surround but it was a beautiful room with quality furnishings. I would defo go again but wouldn't have breakfast as it was disappointing. The staff were lovely though. Views were stunning from the room and lots to do in the immediate surroundings. Fab time

This was an amazing place to stay and we had 3 excellent days. We were there in the "off-season" so were given the option of a room with a small view but a comfortable bathroom versus a room with fantastic views and a small bathroom - we chose the views. The owners are in the process of upgrading the small bathrooms. Coffee was advertised as the best in Cornwall, it was very good. Restaurant meals were very tasty, good quality. Staff were friendly and professional. Ambience was great. Beautiful paintings everywhere and we had the privilege of meeting the resident artist, Ted Staunton, who was very welcoming and positive. Cleanliness and housekeeping could not be faulted. We hope to stay there again.

The team at Camelot made you feel very welcome from when you first set foot in the hotel. The room was clean and view was excellent overlooking Tintagel Castle. We had a great stay and will return!

Very good and comfortable, however the food at the hotel was a bit pricey , have a walk into the town and it can save you £5 per person on breakfast

Hotel and surrounding absolutely amazing, Christmas decorations superb, bedroom view equally amazing, staff friendly and helpful. Bad point's-: The wifi in the room was absolutely shocking, if want peace and quiet its perfect, but if any work related stuff needs doing forget it. I know it was my choice but i paid £440 for 3 night's, surely breakfast could have been thrown in, but no £15:50 each,by the time you get the bill its an £50 per day! Then there was a carol service for the locals, we wasn't told, the whole down stairs blocked, had to use the workmen stairs, if we needed the lift hard luck!
