Almost good experience, the staff is really helping and friendly. Entrance is a little attractive lobby especially because it’s design.

This hotel is comfortable for a solo traveler 🙂🙌🏽 It is evident that the design of modern and hotel is new and clean. I have no claim to the hotel or staff, but there was a girl who snored hard and she had a throat ache and she had never let sleep normally unfortunately 🙈

It is indeed a hotel with a very atmospheric atmosphere. The environment is very clean and comfortable. The facilities are also very new. Surprisingly, the mattress was very comfortable! During my stay, I saw that there were mostly foreign tourists and it was very lively. If I come to Tokyo next time, I will consider staying here again. It was a great experience.☺️

Tora Hotel is very well located in Asakusa. The member staff are very helpful and professional. The place is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it :)

Literally can not fault this hostel! Perfect location. Between 2 metro stops which take you to directly to Haneda airport and Shibuya. Huge mall and restaurants in close proximity but the hostel is in a resident area and so quiet and really chilled. We stayed in the family room and it was perfect. If I was being pedantic I would say a few hooks and a reading lamp was needed. Also no need for the lockers in the family room as they take up too much room. There’s a seven eleven 5 minute walk and kitchen facilities. You can hire most things including straighteners! The staff were really lovely and we would no doubt stay here again!

Fantastic hotel and great value. Everything is new and well maintained. Service and location are great.I would definitely book again if I go back to Tokyo.

I did not get to stay in this hotel. Upon arrival, I was told that my booking did not show in the Hotel’s system, because they were not informed by trip.com of my booking. Unfortunately, they were also fully booked. It was such a stressful experience. The Tora Hotel staff were very helpful. They were really trying to help. I couldn’t say the same for trip.com costumer’s service. Their Japanese team were informed of the mishap by Tora hotel, and the ones they talked to told them they would give me a call to sort things out. They never did. I was only able to reach them through chat. Not only were their contact hotlines unreachable, but when I begged them to call me while chatting with them, they told me that all the number i gave them were unreachable (my roaming number, my companion’s roaming number, the tora hotel’s staff number), which was a bit odd because they were able to contact me twice days before the trip for my early check-in request. They dangled me for 2 hours, telling me they are trying to look for a hotel for me, but they were not able to do so. I ended up asking me to book my own hotel, and offering a refund and reimbursement for the price difference at least. IT WAS SO STRESSFUL. It was my last day in Tokyo and lost more than 2 hours of my planned day. It was their fault and I ended up fixing their own mistake. They did give me 6000 pesos worth of trip coins, but I don’t think I will ever ever use then because I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH TRIP.COM after this awful experience.

- The receptionist kindly let me check in earlier even though I didn’t ask. - The blanket is just heavy enough to get a good sleep. The capsule walls are very thin, though, and the snoring person below me deprived me of some sleep. I guess this is why they sell earplugs at the reception :) An iron is available for 100 yen, but it is not too strong, and they don't provide an ironing board. The ladder to the top bunk capsule is extremely inconvenient, to the extent that one should be very sober and concentrated to climb it up or down without getting hurt. Or maybe it's just that I'm too big. Overall, a rather good stay, and for quite an affordable price, will be keeping this place in mind for my next time.
