Hotel opened less than a year ago. Everything is new and the design is very modern. Location is in the middle of Shinjuku so it was close to everything. The hotel staff was very attentive and the connection between the lobby (on the 18th floor) to the concierge in the ground floor was always in sync. Breakfast at the main hotel had a great view for a nice clear day but selection is limited. They have a second buffet in their neighbour hotel (17th floor) that has more selection. I would not really recommend this hotel for younger kids due to its design but overall great hotel.

Fantastic hotel in prime location in Shinjuku. We stayed on the Grand Premier levels which includes a really nice lounge with snacks and drinks and a private dining room which has a gorgeous breakfast of both western and eastern choices. LOVED breakfast. It's a huge hotel but has a huge staff to run it. Our room was large, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Best part is that Keio Plaza is on the Limousine Bus stop route but we didn't want to wait an hour for the next one from Haneda Airport so took the bus that stopped at Shinkjuki Station and it was truly a 5 minute walk from where the bus dropped us off. Get off the bus and turn left and walk straight and you will see the hotel. That easy. Taxis are inexpensive and plentiful in Tokyo. We had 4 people in our group and often it was worth it just to take taxis vs. the train but the train system was easy and the location to our hotel couldn't be beat.

We were looking forward to return to Hyatt Regency because we enjoyed our stay back in December 2019 but was surprised to learn that the complimentary shuttle bus service was discontinued. We end up walking from Shinjuku station to the hotel. Again, we were informed by the reception that the Japanese breakfast was not available anymore due to the effect of the pandemic. I wanted to take a swim the following morning before heading out and was surprised to learn that the swimming pool was also closed. I might not stay in this hotel anymore next time since several of the service and facilities that were there before were removed.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was so friendly (and they all spoke English) and it really made our trip to Tokyo so much sweeter and enjoyable. It was very refreshing compared to the other hotel we stayed at. We were treated very much like VIPs all throughout our stay. Special mention to Yui, Fred and Alexis who helped us with everything from finding stores, spas, restaurants, transportation arrangements, etc. And was super enjoyable to talk to. They even have great extras like free gourmet coffee, free happy hour drinks, and free morning post hangover shots. Lol! I really like the set up of the room. Its a well thought out layout. It’s spacious and the bathroom layout is separated like a suite - like shower and separate room for the WC. So one doesn’t have to wait for the other and both can use with privacy at the same time. And I can open all the lights on this part of the room early morning and do my make up without bothering my room mate. And black out blinds are really black out. Beds really comfortable. Well done. Definitely recommend and come back again.

Lovely little hotel in an amazing location next to the shin okubo which gives you access to the green JY line. The hotel was great value and I used it to stay for the Tokyo marathon for which it is an amazing location. It’s 3 minutes on the train to the start station of Shin Juku. The rooms are very small, it being Tokyo. I had a twin room so could put my suit case on the spare bed. If I didn’t have that there wouldn’t have been anywhere to put a large case and clothes. All in all a lovely stay

I laughed next to the love hotel, but it was a decent guest house, and it was better to say a capsule hotel. There was a bathroom, but it was too dirty to enter because I was scared. Use only shower All amenities such as showers are available, including large towels. It's amazing for this price! Amenity is handed over in a dedicated bag, a system that returns everything at check-out. Use a dedicated disposable slipper. I think the location is good.

Situated in a very good location in Kabuchiko. Right near all the bars and restaurants. Rooms are very small you can hardly move let alone find somewhere to put your cases to unpack. But apparently this is the norm in Japan unless you're willing to pay more. It's quite a walk with cases from shinjuku station especially on the busy streets so you might want to arrange transport or get the subway to one of the closer stations (Higashi shinjuku is very close) Overall not a bad choice if you're on a budget and just want a base to see the city. I wouldn't be hanging around the rooms too long but would definitely stay again.

I just wish to share my experience in writing in order for all the parties involved to be aware of the reality of such an accommodation. A few months ago, having seen photos on Agoda.com, I had a booked a twin room for 2 people which (as per the photos) had a small tv screen, along with a few other small amenities. This room, very clearly differentiated itself from the remaining rooms Sophiearth III hostel was offering by having 2 mattresses on the floor (which could be joined so that 2 people could sleep together). This specific room/mattress configuration was the sole reason I made this booking (so I could avail it with my partner). Before leaving for my trip, as I was double checking my bookings on Agoda and their corresponding facilities, I noticed that my confirmed booking no longer showed me any similar photos of the same room I had booked. In fact, I noticed that the photos of the said room were no longer available anywhere for viewing. I worried that the hotel would no longer honour & provide me with the same room booked, so I emailed Agoda to share my concerns. I was reticent to cancel this booking in order to make another one as it was non refundable, so in order to be sure of what the situation was, I contacted Agoda. I was assured by Agoda through an email that I indeed would be getting the same room with 2 mattresses on the floor, and that I should not worry as everything would be as exactly booked (my worries were gone post this). As I reached the hotel on the 20th of Feb, I checked in and made the full payment at the property for 5 nights convinced that the room situation was sorted. Unfortunately, as I went up to drop my bags in the room I was disappointed to find that it was not what I had booked as per the photos. They in fact gave me a small bunk bed enclosure/room with no space for 2 mattresses on the floor, no small tv screen or other amenities. The shared bathroom looked very grim, dirty, with a wet floor, no bath mat to dry the feet (another clear contrast to their website photos). When I went to the reception to explain the situation, I also had with me the Agoda email assuring me of the 2 mattresses on the floor and photos of the room I originally booked for (I had taken screenshots for my reference prior to them being removed from the website). To confirm my worst fears, the lady apologized and said they no longer could offer that room as they were going through renovations and it was no longer available. I asked what could be done from their side as this was not acceptable to me. She said ”Sorry, this is our mistake but this is the room we have for you”, however, when I again expressed my displeasure she then mentioned they had a room with similar sleeping arrangements and that I could have it provided I paid an extra 22,000 Yen. I also inquired about refunds and checkout to which I was told no refund could be given and that to check out I simply had to leave the room and be on my way (key less/number pad

The location is very good, close to the station, it is more prosperous at night, but you can't hear it in the room. There are many restaurants, snack bars, fast food shops around, very convenient. There is also a convenience store downstairs. There is a flight of stairs in front of the hotel. If you bring heavy luggage, it will be a little troublesome, I am. The structure is a bit dated and the furniture is quite spartan, but the rooms are huge compared to the national average. We very much appreciated the presence of the towels, which were changed every day if necessary. Very silent, but rather dark room, also considered that windows are dark, so it is not possible to see out and filter very little light. The reception is a very elementary English speaker, but we have never had any problems with understanding and staff has always been very kind. Location of the structure more than excellent: it is located in a side-side ban between a stop of Yamanote and that of another line of metro. Shinjuku is about 20 minutes walking away and there are many restaurants, konbines and a Don Quijote in the Shinokubo district. In conclusion: Most recommended for those who want to spend little, have no claims and want to be in a great position.

Liked the location as it is about 15-minute walk away from the main Shinjuku area, but yet it's relatively peaceful and quiet at night. Stayed solo in a double room so it was just nice (and spacious in Japanese standards for me). Although they didn't provide bottled water, I purchased a big bottle from the convenience store just next door, so no issues on it. The amenities provided at the lobby were more than sufficient, and the humidifier provided in the room is also very useful especially when travelling in cold weather. The best thing of all is that the hotel is situated right next to the subway station, with an escalator available at the nearest exit as well.

He said that he upgraded the room. The bath was large and comfortable. Just one. The fire alarm rang before 3 o'clock in the middle of the night and I was a little scared. It wasn't a fire in the end, but I was a little worried because I didn't know what the situation was at the time. When I approached the elevator to leave the room, there were parents and children, and I was about to change clothes and leave the elevator. The child was very shaking and my anxiety was even greater. Please wait in your room as it is currently being confirmed with the mechanical announcement of the fire, if you need to evacuate, we will tell you the specific evacuation method after this. Did you not announce the current situation such as? If there was that, I think that parent and child could have been relieved as much as possible. It's late after something happens. I look forward to the maximum possible. By the way, the speaker part of the entrance ceiling of the room was off this morning. I was sad that the tissue was not prepared.

It's becoming a regular place... But this time i took the time to enjoy the showers options. Just great. Reminder, even if you are tall (6 feet), the showers and the sleeping pods are tall and large enough. The common area gives you an amazing view, space and seats to work or relax in a wonderful environment. And you have access to free drinks. Lockers are spacious too. The locker - sleeping pod - common area - going out is a bit unusual with the elevator system. But it allows the place to feel safe for women... Or at least make sure that no one enter the place without passing by the lobby (8th floor). So, remember to reserve time to get used to it... Specially at the check out.
