宿の人々の対応は、大変細やかで居心地がとってもよかったです。
料理も大変おいしくて量も食べきれないほどでした。
一泊ではなく 2泊3泊してのんびり過ごすのもよいにでは無いでしょうか、また中松屋さん利用したいと思います。

夕食。中居さんが食事の説明ができなかった。なぜ事前に確認しておかない。もうひとつ、お茶が欲しいと言ってから出してくるのも遅すぎる。他は概して良かったのにそこだけが残念。

This Onsen hotel was to die for. The service and amenities were great. The staff endlessly accommodating. The view from the Onsen on the 7th floor is great. The food and beverage are way more than a human should eat :-), but are tasty and presentation was top notch.

別所温泉は長野県で最も古い温泉で、上田駅からローカル線で約30分のところにあります。規模は大きくないだけに静かで落ち着いた雰囲気のところです。中松屋旅館は300年の歴史を誇る老舗旅館で、温泉街の中心に位置しています。大きな旅館ではありませんが、雰囲気はとてもよく、落ち着いてゆっくりと過ごせます。料理も工夫を凝らしており、おいしくいただきました。温泉は源泉かけ流しで時間を気にせずいつでも入浴できます。館内は部屋を含めて畳み敷で、スリッパを使わずに館内を移動するようになっていたのもアット・ホームな感じでくつろげました。都会の喧騒を離れて、静かなところでくつろぎたい人にはうってつけの温泉旅館かと思います。なお、北向観音は旅館から徒歩1分ほどのところでここもおすすめです。

宿の従業員は皆さんとてもフレンドリーでさりげない気配りが大半心地よかった。部屋も隅々まで清掃が行き届いていてとても気持ち良く、食事も私たちにはちょうど良いボリュームで大変美味しかったです。
おかみさんから、中居さん、フロントの担当の方、送迎の運転手さんまで、全員がお客様を心地良くおもてなししようという気持が伝わってきて、嬉しく満ち足りた気持ちで宿を後にしました。
機会があればまた来ようと思う宿でした。
