They have renovated this hotel nicely and Falcon Lake is a great getaway location! Our overall stay was a 3.0/5. We paid $250.00 for 2 nights is very overpriced for what we ended up receiving. We did not have any hot water during our stay even after being told to let the water run for 15 minutes and zero water pressure in the shower. If we would've known this, we likely wouldn't have stayed. The rooms are renovated and the bathroom floor is heated which is a nice touch! No daily room service though unless asked. There are some outdated pieces of furniture. The sauna and steam room are 10/10! But unfortunately, the water slide is not working and we were not aware of this when checking in. When checking in, we had to call someone to come to the front desk and waited ~10 minutes which is inconvenient. We were disappointed with the restaurant 1964. We ordered drinks which took 20 minutes to come out and food was over 45 minutes. We were only given the Valentine's Day menu and never offered the regular menu. Later that evening we ordered drinks in the pub/lounge and the person making our drinks charged us for doubles but the alcohol ran out before filling it to 2oz and she continued to make our drinks. Overall, our experience was quite poor and is an honest review of the hotel in its current state. We think it has potential for the future but we don't think the quality/service matches the current price.
