Visnja was a perfect hostess! Pleasing and welcoming in every way! Our room number 1 was small but impeccable. The food was delicious! Breakfast was amazing with the best croissants ever! If you plan to go to Plitvice Park, consider staying in this guest house!

We’ve traveled across Europe and stayed in a number of pensions. We’d rate Teslas with the very best. I booked this pension in April as we planned to hike Plitvice National Park. The building has only been in use two seasons. It’s immaculately kept and our room ( smallest in the pension) was completely comfortable. The daylight basement area holds the dining area, a beautiful patio with seating and a small, very comfortable bar. The bar area was perfect for socializing after dinner. The meals were absolutely five star. Breakfast was typically European with eggs made to order as well. We were hungry after hiking the park. The dinner was delicious and nearly more than I could eat. The owners Davorin and his wife Visjna were warm and incredibly accommodating hosts. Highly recommend this place!

What a wonderful stay! The owners are so hospitable and kind and truly made our stay very enjoyable.
We stayed one night and did the Plitvice Park. We dined at Tesla for supper and the food was phenomenal! Don’t miss the dinner and the very generous breakfast in the morning (lots of variety and very tasty). We highly recommend and hope we have the opportunity to return some day.

This place is nothing short of amazing - would go as far as to say it’s the best place we have stayed (and we have stayed in 5* resorts before!). The owner could not have been more kind, helpful and welcoming. The facilities were fabulous and even the sofa bed incredibly comfortable. The location is a drive from local shops etc so a car is needed but the setting is so beautiful and peaceful that it doesn’t matter. We ate breakfast there both mornings and dinner on our second night - we’d initially been reluctant as it seemed pricey but the food was homemade to order and so delicious it was worth every penny! They even have great homemade wine! A fabulous place to stay!

Not a single thing negative to say about this place. A paradise away from the business of a holiday.
The service was fantastic, the couple that run this place are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The dinner & breakfast was one of the better meals we had, and it's always lovely to have a home cooked meal whilst away.
I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this place and recommend it to anyone thinking about spending some time near the national park. I look forward to returning next time.

Host Visnja made our stay extra beautiful. She cooks the most beautiful meals, apartment we stayed in is immaculate- cannot fault anything! The location is superb, just heavenly. Peaceful and very green. Breath taking. We will definitely come again

Tesla’s Gastro Hotel feels almost like a fairytale. The hosts Visjna and Davorin make you feel as if you are family. They are warm, loving and very hospitable. Their gorgeous home/ hotel is in the most beautiful lush location and the air smells so fresh and the entire atmosphere just invites you to relax and enjoy all the incredible beauty. From the intricate tiles, to the adorable rooms, to the perfectly keep grounds you can’t help but fall in love. Davorin makes his own wine and brandy and cures his own meats. Visjna is a fabulous cook and her meals rival any top notch restaurant, there is love in every dish, Think elevated comfort food. My tastebuds tingled with every bite. I mean the hotel and food itself could be the attraction and then they throw in their close location to the absolutely breathtaking Plitvice Lakes and you feel like your in heaven on earth.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful Boutique Hotel 3 nights while visiting Plitvice Park in Croatia! It was meticulous and situated in a lovely location near the Park. Accommodations were wonderful as were our hosts, Visjna and Davorin! We started our days with a delicious breakfast and had outstanding dinners nightly prepared by our host, Visjna, that were comparable to a 5* restaurant!! You may dine in their well-equipped dining room/bar area or on their outdoor patio set up for dining overlooking the beautiful countryside! We highly recommend this Boutique Hotel surrounded in nature because of the warm hospitality and attentiveness to guests and just because we would love to stay there again!! It’s great!!
