Santorini Kastelli Resort

Wow! What an amazing stay at kastelli resort from the moment we arrived late In the evening the service was second to none. A warm welcome, luggage taken to our room the hospitality here is amazing! Special mention to Victoria who served us coffee every morning with the loveliest smile and special mention also to kash every minute of the day was there to check if you had everything, served us beer, chatted to us and honestly he made our stay so comfortable. The breakfast was also fabulous, plenty of choice the hot breakfast was nice and also the selection of fruit and Greek yoghurt *personally my favourite * all washed down with champagne. The beds around the pool were very comfy and the hotel had plenty at the main pool as well as dotted around the hotel and smaller pools. The hotel was spotless and the cleaners worked really hard everyday the room was cleaned and topped up with fresh water and towels. This hotel was faultless the hospitality was amazing, the manager was also very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou to all mentioned for making our stay memorable for my 40th birthday trip 😁

The hotel was superb and the staff were attentive and kind. Breakfast is delicious and plenty of it to go around - even champagne! My one and only gripe was the WiFi - it’s one of those features that you expect to be reliable but unfortunately in most areas of the hotel it’s poor. Could be an issue if you’ve got work to do or children who are expecting to stream programmes in the evening. Otherwise, we had an amazing week! Would definitely be back - they just need to invest in better WiFi! 🛜

Faultless stay at kastelli. Beautiful surroundings, room very spacious ans great view of the pool. Breakfast was plentiful and set you up for the day. Staff were also very friendly and could not help you anymore! Great base point away from the very busy Thira and Oia and we much preferred location and beach bars/restaurants kamari had to offer

I am just back from a 4 night stay at this hotel which was recommended on BA’s website and had to write a review. I wasn’t wowed by Santorini but would go back just to stay in this hotel. My room was spacious. The whole resort is immaculately clean, has the most attentive and friendly staff and was calm and calming. The booking said they serve a continental breakfast. They must have meant several continents as the range and variety was wide and includes hot food. There are 4 pools and staff bring food and drink wherever you are situated, always with a smile. Cass made the effort to try to remember my difficult name and address everyone personally. It is well placed for the beach and loads of restaurants. Most have the same offer and the best food we had was at the hotel. It’s just €2 for a 20 minute bus ride to Fira which has a good variety of shops - hand bags heaven! The reception staff were helpful and knowledgeable. We used them to book trips which included pickup and drop off at the hotel. Although they couldn’t give up late checkouts we were able to use the facilities until we left late afternoon. Absolutely no complaints.

The resort itself is excellent, great rooms and perfect location near the beach and shops and restaurants, but what sets it apart is the amazing incredible helpful and friendly staff. Their dedication to hospitality and service is the best, bar none, we ever experienced

We stayed for four nights in May. What a gem of a hotel - from the moment we arrived we knew we had made a good choice. The hotel has many pools and seating areas - enabling you to find your own secluded spot or the main pool area offers superb chill out music and vibe with attentive staff providing a sun lounge drink / food service. We were upgraded to a suite which had a pool shared with two other rooms - the ultimate in privacy. It was split level with the bedroom in the mezzanine level, it gave us lots of space. The buffet breakfast was excellent and food in the restaurant was delicious. Drinks were great - definitely the best margaritas in Santorini (& we tried a few!) It was the staff that really made the hotel a special place, so friendly and going that little bit further to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are coming to Santorini I highly recommend this resort. The sea and a plethora of bars and restaurants are just a 5 min walk away. We hired a car (€45) and visited the north west - beautiful Oia for sunset. Pretty as it was - it was busy and crowded so we were pleased to come back to Kamari. The island is tiny with a car you can easily get one side to another in 30 mins ( depending on traffic!).

This 5* hotel definitely lives up to its rating! From the moment we stepped foot into the place we were looked after so well by the lovely staff. A special mention has to go to Kash who made our days brighter with his super smile at breakfast every day. His warm and friendly approach made us feel at ease. Also Victoria who made sure there was a constant coffee top up at breakfast and was super helpful with the loveliest manner. The choice of food at breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The rooms were spacious and spotless and were cleaned every day. Comfy beds too. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

We stayed 10 nights at Santorini Kastelli Resort and had an amazing time. My husband and I traveled with our 7 month old baby. Arrival: We arrived quite late and were given a quick tour of the resort which was lovely! We were in room 402 which was on the first floor and had the perfect view over the main pool and bar area. Room: The room is spacious. Fitted three of us and a travel cot easily. There’s limited storage in the room. There’s a kettle, cups, coffee, safe, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. Tv with only a news channel in English so we brought our iPad. The sockets have a usb connection. The bed is large and comfortable and there’s a small balcony. The walls are quite thin and you can hear a lot, especially with people staying above you. Food: We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and there was great variety and the quality was top class. There was something for everyone from fruit, pastries, breads, yoghurt, nuts/seeds, cereals, a gluten free section, hot food, a selection of teas/juices. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and the food was lovely, especially the desserts which we returned for a few nights later. The bar provides a bar menu during the day with sandwiches/wraps/pizzas etc. Drinks: The bar has a nice variety of drinks including a cocktail menu. Staff: We can not speak highly enough of the staff. Especially Victoria who was an amazing hit with our daughter and us. She made great time for everyone and was definitely missed on our return home. Some of the staff are amazing , especially those working during the day but one or two of those in managerial roles need to relax a small bit in our opinion. We had asked for a couple of things during our stay and the reception staff never seemed to like changes being made so they refused anything requested like a change to taxi time to airport etc but were extremely accommodating by providing a room for us to change our baby on the day we were leaving as they couldn’t provide a late checkout. Pool: As we had our baby, we used the main pool all of the time. There were 3 other pools available and they seemed a lot quieter but let’s be honest, no one wants a baby near them in a small inclosed area. The water was cold, very cold. But we still got in and loved it. I think it would be a lot warmer in the summer months. Transport: We hired a car for one day to drive to neighboring Fira and Oia. We organised the car with reception the day before. The car was delivered to the hotel at 10am in the morning and collected from the hotel the following day which was ideal. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel which is supposed to be very good. I wouldn’t be rushing to these places in peak season as they are supposed to be crazy. At the beginning of May, beautiful! Location: The hotel is only a stones throw from local restaurants/bars/shops/beach. Great location and you couldn’t get much closer. Stunning and quiet hotel, impeccably clean and fresh. Fabulous shower and bathroom, comfy bed, large balcony overlooking Mesa Vouno. One large pool with bar and lunch area, three smaller pools for a more private feel. Marvellous food, the squid ink linguine with seafood is amazing. Staff are the kindest I’ve met in any hotel and are proficient in many languages. 100 m from seafront in Kamari, close enough for long walks and far enough away from the hustle and bustle.
