房間很小，一個人住一晚睡一覺就走OK，沒有電梯，拿着大行李的建議另外找地方。房間都是在馬路邊，很吵。有一個值得表揚的就是早餐還行。交通也不方便。開車的沒有停車位。

Stayed here whilst visiting family who live in Walthamstow. After reading some of the other reviews we were a bit concerned. Need not have worried though. The room was fine, quite clean and bed comfortable. The shower was on the small side but good water pressure. Reception staff were very pleasant. Would stay there again.

We saw mixed reviews about the commongate before we booked so were a little apprehensive on our journey down. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of our room given the very low price. It’s never going to be the Ritz but this hotel is absolutely fine to stay in if you’re happy with the basics and just want a room to sleep in. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap stay in London. I would come back here again. The only very very minor feedback point is that they only give you 1 pillow and the water from the bathroom has a sign on it saying it is not drinkable, so make sure you bring your own water or you can just use the kettle in the room.

Room was clean and tidy. We had a shower and jacuzzi bath so this was really lovely. The breakfast was disappointing though. I ordered the full English and it arrived warm. None of it was hot. Found out everything had been done in the air fryer so a lot of the food was dried out. The dining room isn’t big enough to seat all residents for breakfast at the same time so people had to wait for those seated to leave before they could have their breakfast. We didn’t have breakfast on the second day. This could be solved by offering a booming system for breakfast.

I stayed here 26/9/23 to 29/9/23 and would definitely return. Reasonably priced, staff very welcoming and friendly ( not corporate), delicious freshly prepared breakfast, very clean. 10 minute walk to town centre, numerous bus routes, service station almost opposite. Room quite small but adequate.

Last minute, walk-in...their website says €37.50, trip advisor says €57.00 but the young man said it's €70!? No elevator, very small room but nice, shower was great but water didn't drain, lady in the morning was awesome, breakfast was good...taxi to Gatwick (55 miles!) was €85..cash only!? Not many hotels in that part of London and sure would be fine for a night or two. 👍

My partner and I live near the Commongate Hotel and she always joked that one day i'd piss her off so much that she'd have to send me to the there for the night while she cooled off. Well yesterday that day arrived and in my desperation I packed my bag and headed over. I must admit I'd always dreaded going there because it really doesn't look great from the outside but to my pleasant surprise it was actually pretty decent. The Spanish man at reception couldn't have been nicer and the room (including the bedding) felt pretty clean. I'm happily back at home now but just want people to know that the hotel is not the horror show other reviewers have made it out to be. It's actually really good value for £50.

Het hotel ligt langs een hele drukke weg. Veel last van verkeer, sirenes etc. We kregen een andere kamer dan geboekt. Omdat we erom vroegen kregen we een andere kamer maar daar moesten we na één nacht weer uit. Daarnaast moet je goed ter been zijn ivm steile trap. Kamers zijn klein, simpel en benauwd maar hangt wel plafondventilator. Ontbijt zijn vaste menu’s maar ze zijn wel flexibel en behulpzaam. Metro is 20 min lopen. Bushalte voor de deur.
