Fantastic stay at The WESTIN. We came off-season and it was very quiet however service was on point and the staff super efficient, all restaurants opened and all activities available. The kids club is very clean and great for babies to just stroll around. Butler Revan did everything for us to spend a perfect stay with our 8mo old baby, upgraded us to the most beautiful Ocean view and got us beautiful cars with baby car seat for our car travels. Breakfast have a lot of western/Chinese options, super fresh and variations in the menu everyday so it’s not boring. The beach is clean, swim/surf possible (nice beach break). Everything is quite new and well maintained, and the staff is very helpful, most of them are English speaking which makes everything easier. Already thinking about our next trip.

We came in October and we liked the hotel so much that we decided to come back again in December during Christmas holidays. We stayed in one villa to have more space and it was amazing! Alex ( thanks a lot for making perfect our holidays!) helped us to move to another villa with great sea view the following day we arrived. If you are in a villa you can have the breakfast buffet ( really good mixing Chinese and western food) in its beach restaurant Horizon, looking at the ocean, which is really nice. Another important thing is that the outdoor swimming pool next to the lobby is warm! So even though is December, you can enjoy swimming. We love this pool and being able to reach the great beach in one minute! Alex also helped us to book at the Chinese restaurant and at the end year party. We tried the Korean restaurant too. All these experiences were perfect: the food, the service, the environment… Le meridien is one of our favorite hotels in Hainan ( for all these reasons and for its great staff like Alex!)! We will come back soon!

This hotel is great for those who enjoy lazy days with delicious food, maybi to increase some weight. But it's no brainer for those who are looking for active holiday with swimming or surfing, for those who want to stay healthy. Why? Swimming and surfing not allowed!!! We had to sign a declaration that you will not be swimming in the sea already by check in!! The signs with ”no swimming” are everywhere, even on the door of our room! Instead of sea, they offered us very large swimming pool. The pool is really great. But the problem is there are poeple on paddle board running around without paying attention to the swimmers - you can see on the picture. So it was quite normal to get hit by a paddle to the head. It was really dangerous, I really do not understand this. Then we wanted to go surfing - also failed. There is a surfing club whit boards and staff. But they rejected to rent a board to me. They only allow to rent a board with coach - for 5x higher price of course. So you are not allowed to surf alone. In the end, we took Didi everyday and traveled to Shimei beach where surfing was allowed. So I can't give more than one start for the service, even when I consider other service on good level. The hotel itself is good, rooms are not large but comfortable. THe breakfast is really delicious and dinner as well. The beach is beautiful, I'm sorry to be allowed just to watch it.

This hotel was probably great 20 years ago but has not been updated since. The staff were friendly. Most of the amenities like the restaurant and pool bars look like they have been permanently closed. You can easily walk to the beach but are not allowed to swim in the water. I have stayed in hotels all over China and I would not recommend this hotel. Not worth the price.

A newly opened hotel in Wanning is very cost-effective. We felt very good about our stay. We were very satisfied with the process from the front desk to the concierge pick-up and drop-off service. We were satisfied with the food and accommodation in the hotel. It is convenient to pick up and drop off with a battery car. You can also walk on your own. There are road signs in the park. It's easy to recognize. Overall, I'm 100 points satisfied. The hotel is not far from the beach. There is an Internet celebrity lighthouse next to the beach. The movie ”The Lost Girl” was filmed there. I wrote a review for the hotel concierge Xiao Ou, haha! He sent us back to the room to help with our luggage, and also introduced us how to call a car in the room, dial 0 for service, and introduced some free items in the room. During the pick-up process, he introduced us to the three restaurants in the hotel, including a fisherman's restaurant and a beachside restaurant. , Yige Restaurant, also introduced local specialties. During my stay at the hotel, I would call Xiaoou on WeChat to help me get takeout and deliver it to the room. The service was very patient and very good. 🈵100 points for Yi. I will come again next time I have time to come to Wanning. Choose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

good environment But to be honest, the experience of staying this time is very poor. At night, there are two people in the yard chatting loudly all the time, and they can't sleep when they wake up. It's three o'clock in the evening when I look at my phone Poor soundproofing and roommates snore I can't stand it for one night. I originally booked for three days, but I'm still looking for a high-end hotel. Don't expect this price still give a good review Hope to do better
