Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Grand Rapids Near Downtown Reviews

Lots going on here. Strange setup in the room but not bad. Staff was helpful. Machines were not stocked and the ice machines broken. Overall would probably not frequent this one unless another trip changed my mind or the convenience due to location made it worth the stay. Definitely wouldn't say it's a bad place but there was a lot of questionable activity that even the young woman behind the desk had to keep getting involved in, which she did a very good job of while remaining very pleasant.

There was a lot of glass in the parking lot and the ice machine was down. The inside was clean and clerk was very friendly. The room was also clean too.

Not the best place to stay, rooms smelled funny and the bathroom floor and tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned.

I ended up leaving after an hour. The entire hotel from top to bottom was filthy. There was a used q-tip in the elevator, stains on the tile in the lobby. The room I was in was much of the same with hair in the towels and even in the mini-fridge. I left and got a different hotel because of how worried I was over something like there being bed bugs. Would not recommend this hotel, you're better off getting some place a little more expensive in the Grandville area.

Sheets were not clean. Dusty Cheeto finger prints and hair all over white sheets. Toilet and shower both clogged.

Looked as if there was mold on the ceiling, food left on the floor and stains everywhere, ended up having to move rooms.

so rude and disappointing. wall was cracked. Bathroom drains doesn’t work correctly. All 4 table legs were falling apart. Microwave had red jelly all over it. The staff kept walking past my room tryna watch me. bedcovers bed stains on it. Stay very rude and inconsistent.

Woke up to a roach on the bathroom sink! Very dirty! Very sketchy! They should be closed down for sure!

Toilet didn't work properly, hole in the bathroom door. Looked like it was punched. Bathroom sink leaked out the bottom

First room had an electrical issue that left the whole wall without power. Second room smelled like a 3 day old cigarette. Breakfast was donut holes and cereal.

Came to town for a soccer tournament for my daughter. Right off the bat, the hallways and elevators stink like old ****. The drain in the bathtub was clogged, when I turned on the bathtub, the first second of water was rusty and disgusting. Went down to the front desk to ask for more towels, asked the desk clerk for some towels, he went into the back room, came back 7 minutes later without any towels, then asked if I just needed two bath towels, I asked for 3, and he scoffed and acted like it was a major inconvenience to give me 3 towels instead of two. The service was terrible, the building is run down. Just not a good place for a family to come stay.

When we got off the elevator to our floor that was a horrible smell. It was there every single time we went to our floor. The room itself didn’t smell horrible, but the bathroom was run down. The toilet seat was coming off and the tub was clogged so bad that when we showered we ended up standing in water up to our shins. The people who checked out in front of had the same issues so it wasn’t like we got a bad room. The vent in the bathroom was very dirty and the carpet had gunk stuck in it. We also chose this hotel for the pool and hot tub which ended up being closed the whole time we were there. We booked through ******* and then got to the hotel and they charged me another $50 for a cleaning fee. Why am I paying a cleaning fee when you are clearly doing the bare minimum. Would not recommend that places. It’s a days inn/baymont combo. Avoid both in that area if you are looking.

We got to the hotel and it was not maintained and unkempt. The rooms looked dirty, dingy, and the population hanging out were concerning. We did not stay and they refused to return my money. Be very weary

no sign on the building, my husband had to drive around to find it. not up to standards of a $90 stay, more like $60. Toilet seat was coming off, toilet paper dispensers were loose, the desk and chair were near collapse. Breakfast food was stale and not great quality. will never stay there again. the drapes were hanging off broken rod and light came in all night. room was clean and bed comfortable but that's the only positive. room was repainted but not professionally
