The hotel was fine. Bed a little hard for western standards, but everything very clean. Cannot say enough good things about front-of-hpuse Mr Micheal Chen, whose English was exceptional, and politeness incredible. He helped book our ferry tickets to Gulangyu even! If you meet him, ask about Fawlty Towers! 🤣 The same cannot be said of 1 lady working in the breakfast buffet. I got a plate of bread to share and was told if I liked bread that much, then they sell it!!!! It felt like she was always scrutinising us every time we went for food. I doubt she said that to anyone with a plateful of dumplings. It made us feel uncomfortable every time we went for breakfast after that, and that is not a sign of a good hotel. I won't return to Xiamen, but because of her, if I did I'd choose a different hotel.

View is decent. Sea view and can see Kulangsu but the curtain wall mullion is breaking the nice view into pieces. Cleanliness is debatable- this hotel has been operating for some years so there is some aged areas. Wood veneer furnitures are definitely in aging condition. Some molds and stains, which I highly suggest the hotel to take some look at. The Shanghai Tang shampoo they offered in the room had exact same scent as hotel lobby - not sure if it is a good thing. Yvette was very nice, giving us extra care and providing an upgrade. Breakfast is nice too but I really hoped to have fried rice. Regarding rice in breakfast, maybe Im asking for too much…

Excellent location with wonderful views of Gulangyu Island. Check-in was extremely slow - with a queue developing, despite it being past midnight - they also required a large deposit (double the room rate!) which we felt was excessive. Breakfast was so-so, quite a lot of choice but generally not particularly good quality - was bored of the selection by the third morning. Lots of parking which was very convenient. To be aware, there are no USB ports in the room and cannot borrow a charging block, so be sure to bring/buy your own. In-room dining menu had a wide selection and good quality. Rooms were clean and well-kept. We were brought a small gift for Christmas, which was very kind. Overall, the location and views make up for any minor ******* - would highly recommend for a city break in Xiamen.

First time staying in this hotel. Receptionist was swift in checkin in process. Clean room and toilet. Toiletries and one time use-pack were all new and stocked up. Would highly recommend. Super B services. Felt better than many other 4-5 stars hotels. There is also the emerging cultural and creative market - Baijiacun Garden nearby, and it is not far from Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Price: As a petty bourgeoisie, price is certainly one of the options I consider. It costs just over NT$1,000 per night, which I personally think is pretty ok! Cleaning: Maybe I was lucky. The room was incomparably clean. I didn't find any hair or dust from other reviewers. The housekeeper's continuous cleaning was also of high quality. Service: The guy at the counter was very enthusiastic in giving us a lot of travel information and restaurant recommendations. The overall service quality was very high. Guest room: The space is not large, but it has everything. The balcony is really the focus of the whole room. Drinking coffee on the balcony, paired with local snacks and a green courtyard, is a space where you can relax all afternoon. Pet Friendly: Koi is fat and clingy, and cats occasionally appear.

A comfortable family trip in Xiamen. The staff are really nice and sweet which makes the traditional Hotel out of expectation. The weather is not so favourable in early April, but our trip was carefree for a two nights stay with wonderful location near Zhongshan Park and the famous botanical garden. One thing that I feel pity though is that no swimming pool facility in the Hotel, so we travelled a bit to a nearby indoor pool.

和網上看到的圖片還是有一些差別的，地理位置還不錯，大概是城中村的感覺。房屋介紹裏的設施訊息很多都是不準的，要不是想提前確認一下，問了一嘴房東，不然就……呵呵了，希望儘快更新訊息吧，後面住的小夥伴最好還是跟房東確認一下相關設施。 🙋[對於房東，我想説]房東還算是中規中矩叭，提前聯繫，入住事宜，因為退房是下午的，所以想晚一些退房，沒有溝通下來，不過也能理解。 🛏[房屋設施我一定要提]設施總體來説比較舊，感覺灰塵很多，衞生條件真的很有待提高。香皂是過期的（圖4），這個實在是不太行。廁所的地漏也有點堵，因為是冬天比較冷，所以總共也沒洗幾次澡。洗手間的通風設施也不太好，換氣扇在洗浴這邊，馬桶這邊的換氣就靠自然換氣，馬桶後面的牆有幾個小窗（沒有玻璃的那種）。洗手池已經有點歪了，中間有一部分凹下去了（如圖3）。 📍[對於周邊的便利度，我要説]周邊還是比較便利的，離地鐵站走路需要15-20分鐘，離快速公交站大概步行5分鐘。
