Family-friendly Hotels in Yulong

The hotel is a little away from the old town (about 20 mins drive), but it is near the exit from the highway, for those driving in. The area is still under construction, so lacks charm. The first impression of the lobby also does not give off a very classy vibe. It is an enormous hanger with lots of stuff dotted around, and no clear flow. There is also a crappy tea shop shoved into the corner that looks like it is taken from a cheap, regional Chinese airport. So not the greatest check in impressions. The hotel is really new, so the corridors and rooms are in great shape, and well up to standard for the money. We were also able to pay 138 RMB each for the full dinner buffet in the exec lounge, which was delicious, and had a great range of foods. Good view of Yulong snow mountain from the hotel too. There are some rough around the edges parts in common areas, but the hotel parts are very nice, and recommended.

This is my third time in Lijiang. I booked a stay at Club Med because a friend recommended it. This four-day and three-night trip to Lijiang was really wonderful! First of all, we are a family of 10 people, including four adults, four children, and two elders. We have booked 4 rooms, but it may not be convenient because they are not on the first floor. Thank you very much to Butler Xueqiu, who upgraded us for free after learning about our situation. My son and I were upgraded to a suite with a view of the snow-capped mountains. The view was really beautiful! Then there is Club Med, which is great for bringing children. There are various activities in the mini club, as well as child care, and there are different games and interactive activities in the theater every night. To be honest, the children have a lot of fun without leaving the resort. It can be said that the taste of the all-inclusive meals is absolutely unambiguous, and the taste is better than at least 80% of the five-star hotels I have stayed in in China. Very good value for money! The whiskey and cocktails produced by the bar are also good. It is a paradise for parents to drink some wine while watching their children having fun in the theater every night! Of course, the most important thing for me is hygiene, and Club med is really good at this! The hotel has been open for several years and is still maintained like new, which is better than 90% of the five-star hotels I have stayed in in China. When it comes to service, I think it is better than any domestic hotel. Every service staff smiles kindly and responds to requests. Housekeeper Xueqiu responds instantly if I have any questions after work. In addition, we also met the beautiful and kind manager Wendy, and our family almost became friends with her. The children said they would come to see Wendy again next year. Probably the only drawback is that the location is a bit remote, making it inconvenient to run errands and buy medicine. It's quite far from the ancient city, but it's very close to Baisha Ancient Town. It takes about 5 minutes by taxi. But to be honest, I am really not interested in over-commercialized ancient cities and towns. We only visited Baisha Ancient Town. The kebabs were hard to swallow, and the bathroom was a nightmare. This was probably our first and last time to visit this ancient town. Anyway, it can be said that this time we stayed at Club Med, which will set new standards for us to choose hotels for future trips. My son is already looking forward to going to Guilin Club Med next time!

The environment is very beautiful, the location is good, the transportation is convenient, the rooms are comfortable and hygienic, the service staff are very enthusiastic and willing to provide all kinds of help, and the breakfast is rich. The facilities are very user-friendly and the high-speed network signal is good. I especially like the snow mountain camp and the scenery is particularly beautiful. A boutique Internet celebrity homestay with high cost performance is located in the ancient town of Baisha under the snow mountain, and it is very convenient to enter and exit! The room is very clean and spacious, and the configuration is fully intelligent. This price is absolutely worth it~ Mainly because the boss is super enthusiastic. He called me as soon as I placed an order and informed me of the weather here. Everything is fine, boss He also helped us send me some major positions for us to play, saving a lot of trouble! The scenery is particularly comfortable! If you don’t know how to play in Lijiang, then you can live in this famous Internet celebrity hotel. It’s absolutely no problem to help you arrange the itinerary.

This inn is an unexpected surprise for this trip to Lijiang. Unexpectedly, the accommodation with such high cost performance turned out to be a lake-view room in Lashihai, and it was an end-user. The three bay windows were all exquisitely built, and two of them could see Lashihai. Very quiet and good service. There is its own restaurant for lazy people like me. The upstairs terrace has a great view too.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sadhu Inn. It was a short one-night stay between places. It would have been nicer if we could stay longer. The Inn is convenient located at one end of Baisha town’s Main Street. It’s very peaceful with amazing views to the Yulong Snow Mountain, even directly from our room. The Inn has a beautiful courtyard and balconies for 2nd floor rooms. Our room is very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The owner was very warm and helpful. She was actually from my hometown. It’s so special hearing the home tones in such a beautiful setting - definitely reminded me of my childhood courtyard living memories. We would definitely recommend the Inn to anyone interested in visiting Lijiang.

This hotel is very unique and is a great place to stay for outdoor lovers. The breakfast is tasty, dinner was good, and the owner also gave us coffee and there are a few entertainment options. The rooms are cozy, we went during the winter and with the portable heaters and heating blankets it was not cold at all. Bathroom was small but understandable given these are tents. One thing to note, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so suggest to self drive or make sure your driver knows exactly where the location is. When you first pull up you cannot see the tents right away but don’t be scared, you can call the owner and ask for directions, he is very helpful.

The most satisfying B&B I have ever stayed in (no one) First of all, the surrounding environment is very quiet. There is no commercialization of the ancient city. It is more of the tranquility and fireworks of the small village. It is also very convenient to take a taxi. You can go anywhere quickly without traffic jams, giving people a very warm feeling. We arrived in the evening and had already turned on the heating. They recommended two restaurants to us without having dinner. Each one was delicious and not a surprise (especially Yun Xueli who ate there twice). The entire B&B has a sense of design, both in the rooms and in the courtyard. The facilities in the entire room are very smart, including heating, electric blankets, and smart toilets. The washing machine (I just washed the clothes I had saved for two days) was full of Marshall speakers! ! The breakfast was very rich and delicious. We went hiking in the snow-capped mountains the next morning and had breakfast prepared in advance for us to take away. Their cats are very cute and not afraid of people. They eat well and bask in the sun, drink tea and play with the cats. They are very relaxed and comfortable. The sky is very clean at night and you can see the stars. You can even see the snow-capped mountains from the rooftop. Finally, I would like to give Xiao Wang and the front desk lady a boost of performance (ps. their staff are really friendly). If they hadn’t already booked it, I would have stayed another day. Will definitely come again next time I have a chance!
