Family-friendly Hotels in Zhangjiakou

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed skiing. The slopes are well prepared and easy to ski. We enjoyed CNY at the hotel and also the F&B Arrangement did meet our expectations - even though we are European. I would like to mention that the staff was very helpful - especially Hannah (Front office) and also both the F &B Manager and Housekeeping Manager made sure we were well looked after and all three spoke very good English. Thank you very much and we will visit again.

Clean and convenient hotel with a view on the ski slopes. Discount for ski pass available at hotel as well as equipment rental. But we decided to go directly to the main ski hall as it was more convient for us to return the equipment. Breakfast is ok. Mainly Chinese choices but there are toasts, jams and cereals for western palates. Coffee is good too.

Probably the best hotel on Thaiwoo ski resort. One step from the slopes. Has nice pool and jakuzzi to relax after skiing. Good breakfast.

The hotel room was OK. The breakfast was completely disappointing! After 9pm many dishes were out of stock and the staff was not capable of handling the situation.

Service, breakfast, are OK, I think it is worthy of this price. Disadvantages, the underground garage is used by residents, the parking lot on the ground is very small, but the road across the Mengtejiao hotel can also stop, that big does not need money, the charging station is also inside. There is also a little wooden raft of the service staff, the little girl in the hot spring is OK, very enthusiastic. It is recommended to stay and rest.

The ground and underground parking lots are very clean and spacious, and it is very convenient to get in and out.

Accompanying the children to football training, Taiwu stayed here without breakfast in the hotel. This is a five-star hotel. The room is quite big. There is even an induction cooker, a range hood and a sink. You can make some simple meals here. There are two bathrooms, which is very convenient. Facing the mountain, if the snow season comes, the location is really good, and it is not bad now. You can see the blue sky, white clouds and green mountains when you open the door and have a balcony. There are also cable cars and entertainment downstairs. The food is also very good, definitely a five-star standard. Now it’s not the peak season and only two restaurants are open. The Blue Lagoon restaurant serves light meals and breakfast. The breakfast is very rich, and the cakes and breads taste very good. I have also eaten at Qinglong Restaurant, and I recommend the Olympic Shrimp Balls, which are very fresh and taste good. Hope to open more restaurants during the snow season. I would also like to thank the handsome guy at the front desk. Because the room was a bit hot with my parents, he helped us change to the family room. He showed me the room and helped me change the room with my luggage. He also gave me a fruit plate. We enjoyed staying at Crowne plaza . Special mention to the Executive chef Scott Zhang who made sure we got our meals as how we wanted .The front office Paul Zhang and Joseph were really helpful. The restaurant staff are really spot on too. Breakfast was amazing ...a buffet with all sorts of food for the three days we stayed the food items were different. There's alacarte service for the rest of the day which is ok. Very clean rooms and despite the temperature dip the room was heated well. Enjoyed the skiing that's close to the hotel .Lots of activities to do.We couldn't ask for a better Christmas. Will definitely recommend people with families to enjoy the hot tubs on the 10th floor after a day of skiing you can relax at the Steam and Sauna . Great service and overall the Staff are well motivated.
