We originally booked a whale-themed quad room, but upon check-in, the front desk attendant mentioned it might be a bit warm and offered us a penguin-themed room with a separate air conditioner instead. It was okay at first, but it got progressively hotter, and after two hours, it still hadn't cooled down. Around 11 PM, we couldn't take it anymore and contacted the butler again, who arranged a cooler room for us. The Feiniao butler was very responsive and smoothly coordinated a switch to a Princess Castle room. With central air conditioning plus two large stand-alone AC units, we finally stopped sweating! The room was also much larger, with a bigger slide, and even a carousel (though it doesn't spin), which was more than enough to tire out our almost 2-year-old.
This second room was absolutely perfect and very satisfying. Our baby had a smoother time on the slide and still didn't want to sleep by midnight; we had to comfort her to sleep. The round bunk beds comfortably fit 4 adults and 1 infant.
Although we had a bit of a bumpy start with the room change, both the Feiniao and Penguin butlers were very responsive and handled it to our satisfaction. Thumbs up! I just regret not giving feedback sooner; we ended up suffering for an extra two hours and almost got heatstroke 🥵, but I guess it was a little travel hiccup.
Also, a big shout-out to the hotel's excellent shuttle service (I initially booked based on aesthetics and didn't pay attention to the services). It was a pleasant surprise, especially since it was a business van, which made traveling with our 4+1 family group so much more convenient!
