This apartment faces out to the ocean, it has great views from every room, the apartment is old and not modern, but if you’re looking for a reasonably priced beach front apartment with a great location, and free onsite parking, then this is the one.

We stayed for the weekend on level 23. The apartment was clean and spacious. The views were amazing and the level 40 pool was a bonus. We used the pool everyday we was there, it was always quiet which made it that little bit more special for us. Check in was smooth and easy and checkout the same. We will definitely be returning.

I was expecting better experience since I’m staying in an ensuite room, but the bathroom didn’t provide any shower amenities, and the room was quite messy — possibly because of other tenants. When I entered the room in the afternoon, there was no air conditioning, so I had to walk to the front desk to report it. The receptionist was very professional, and I appreciate her helping me contact a technician. By the way, the entrance to the ensuite requires going through the restaurant next door to access it. Near the surfer paradise.

The room was very clean, which was great. I had to leave early in the morning this time, so I didn't get to have breakfast. As a solo female traveler, having the toilets and showers on the same floor as the men made me feel a little uneasy. In particular, I was concerned about the large gap at the bottom of the shower room door, making it visible from the outside. I thought it was great that it was close to the station, but since the train service was infrequent, I ended up taking a taxi. (I wish I had looked into that beforehand.)

Excellent resort. Very large, with 3 fantastic swimming pools, bar, restaurant, mini golf, pedal karts, and many activities to do within the resort. The location is good, only 10 minutes from the center by car. Tidy and clean rooms, with cool air conditioning that helps with the hot Cairns weather. We would definitely return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! We stayed in the 2 Bed Family Villa at Chinchilla Motor Inn and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was modern, spotless, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet, making it perfect for families. What truly impressed us, though, was the amazing service. Our daughter accidentally left her beloved Kindle behind, and the staff went above and beyond to help. They carefully packed it in a bubble-wrap envelope and posted it back to us free of charge, even though we offered to cover the cost and their time. It arrived safely, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’d highly recommend Chinchilla Motor Inn to anyone — fantastic facilities and even better people!

I was booking at trip.com, but I was likely to be pulled down by a bank card without confirming at check-in. When I told you that I had already finished payment many times, I finally went to the back room to confirm. There is also a casino on the first floor and it is noisy with the explosion until midnight. Although it was due to heavy rain, the floor of the room was soaked and all the bags were wet.

Conveniently located with a kitchen, which was great for cooking our own meals. The high floor offered expansive views. The beach is right across the street, making it wonderful to watch the sunrise in the morning. The train station behind the hotel also made getting around very easy. Overall, it's a fantastic choice.

Great
SSherryChuHandy location, friendly staff, simple but good breakfast. Room size is good with a relaxing roof top message pool. Shower curtain design is a bit too narrow to wet the toilet floor. Another point is we can hear noises from people on the street next door around mid night on Thursday and Friday nights ( we were staying on lower floor).

GGuest UserI was very satisfied. There is a shop near the hotel, which is very helpful. Due to its location, it is a place where you do not have to eat. The hotel employees are very nice.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Cairns seems relatively new, but it's not great value for money. I booked a sea view room, which was completely unnecessary as it overlooks a murky lagoon that exposes mudflats at low tide. The room was quite spacious, but it had a damp, musty smell. They only provide two bottles of water per day, and they're in glass bottles, which made me seriously suspect the staff just refilled them with tap water. If you run out, you have to go to the first floor to get drinking water, which also tasted like tap water. On the first day, the tissue box ran out after only two tissues, but thankfully it was refilled the next day. Breakfast is mainly Western style, and the location is convenient, as you can walk to restaurants, the wharf, and other places!

Oouliana routLocation of the resort is very good, on the river, close to the Surfers Paradise central area and walking distance to the beach. It has lots of free garage and on site parking. It has tennis court, beautiful pool with hot outdoor spa , gym and dry sauna. All service desk guys were very attentive and helpful. Downside is that the resort is old and needs lots of maintenance. All common areas are in need of a facelift. All units have individual owners. The unit I stayed had blocked sink in the bathroom and bed mattress in the bedroom was worn out and sagging to one side. Lucky me I was able to sleep on the other side!

GGuest UserI was lucky to choose this hotel in Brisbane during the Christmas holiday. The suite has two large beds, a kitchen with a dishwasher, two sinks in the bathroom, separate wet and dry areas, and a beautiful swimming pool. The location is also good. There is a bus but the train requires more than ten minutes of walking up and down the hill, which is quite tiring.

GGuest UserHotel is next to star casino and walking distance to board beach. Hotel is looking pretty new and in fact, has been opened for few years. The only down side was the house keeping on one of the night. We booked for 3 rooms for 3 nights, on the first day, the house keeping was completely messed up. 3x Rooms did make up (partly) with soil towels (one of the room only has bed tidy up, nothing else) and etc were collected, however, no cleaned towels replaced, bin still full. Without this drama, this hotel is good.

___jtLocation is not too bad. Situated a 15 minute walk away from the waters and main restaurant area. Situated on a main road but quiet at night. They let us put down our luggage when we couldn’t check in yet and leave it there after we’d checked out and waited for our flight. The young female receptionist was very helpful and nice.

TTaishanshendiaoxialvHotel location: Super convenient, right outside is George Square and Queen Street. You can even see the clock tower of the square from your room. Truly irreplaceable. Hardware facilities: The space isn't huge, but the facilities are quite complete. Although it's an old hotel, the cleanliness is still good. Service: We stayed for 2 nights and noticed there was only one bottle of milk. We told the staff, and they immediately brought a whole pack, which was great. However, the bathroom fan was broken. We called maintenance, and they came to look at it but couldn't fix it on the spot, saying they'd come back the next afternoon. But when we returned to our room late the next evening, it still wasn't fixed, and we weren't informed why. This needs improvement.

KKathhhA newly renovated hostel runs by Little Drifter in Cairns CBD area. Everything is quite new and well maintained, except for the washing machines (quite a few are broken and still waiting to be fixed, only 2-3 machines are working, both laundry and drying cost $6 each time so that would be $12 in total if you wash and dry in one go). Yet big shout out to the staff there, they’re all very friendly, responsive and helpful, and that really makes a huge difference. The whole atmosphere in the hostel is really cozy and chill. I lived in a 8-bed dorm, everyone is really respectful and quiet, especially after 22:00 when the lights are off. Kitchen has everything you need so you don’t need to worry about anything. And for ladies who might need to blow dry your hair, you can borrow hairdryer at the reception by giving out your passports/driver licenses. Regarding location, it’s definitely prime, everything is within walking distance. Woolworths is just next door, Esplanade and Lagoon are just 5 mins walk away, Cairns Central just 10 mins walk away. It’s definitely a really good choice if you’re new to the city and would like to have easy and fast access to everything.
