Discovering the hidden Aqueduct ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ

The Caesarea Aqueduct is a well-preserved ruin of the ancient Roman aqueduct that served the city of Caesarea. The aqueduct was built to provide a reliable supply of fresh water to the city, which had no natural water source at the time of construction. The majority of the great public buildings, infrastructure, and monuments of Caesarea were built from around 22 BC onwards, during the reign of King Herod the Great. The aqueduct was mostly constructed during this period and was further expanded as the city grew in the following centuries. Today, the aqueduct is a popular tourist attraction and one of the best-preserved stretches of aqueduct is on Caesareaโ€™s beach, offering gorgeous, extremely photographic, views.#hiddengems
