Guizhou Provincial Museum

The Guizhou Provincial Museum is located in the Guanshanhu District, on the north side of Guanshan Lake Park, and it is a new museum. The new Guizhou Provincial Museum has three floors, with exhibition halls ranging from primitive society to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Due to the mountainous terrain and scarcity of flat land, as well as the presence of many ethnic minorities, the central dynasty's rule over Guizhou was established step by step. Guizhou's provincial boundaries were essentially set during the Ming dynasty, and were further adjusted by Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing dynasty. Guizhou is all mountains, and it can be said to be the only province without a large plain.
