#freehotelstay When we moved to China, we knew we had to visit the Harbin Ice & Snow Festival! Each year, expert teams construct a city of ice blocks. The sculptures come alive at night as the neon lights begin to glow. Is it freezing? Yes!! But there are many warm drink vendors. Fuel up on coffee or milk tea before taking a walk through the winter wonderland. When you need a break, pop back into a tent for another warm drink. Outside of the festival, take time to explore Harbin’s parks and snap photos of Saint Sophia’s. Definitely add this one to your bucket list! ❄️ Wear proper layers! Temps are well below freezing, so you’ll need quality insulation to stay warm. ❄️ Visit the snow festival by day. ❄️ Get to the ice park an hour or two before sunset so you can see the sculptures in the daylight, then watch the lights come to life after the sun goes down. #travelinspiration #china #harbin #winter
