Shaxi, I am completely satisfied

For me, the experience of a trip is not only about the scenery but also inseparably linked to the food, accommodation, and every little feeling along the way. My eyes must be able to capture the beauty, while my ears can't be overwhelmed by noise, nor can I be jostled by crowds. I want my soul to be nourished, and I'd prefer my body to be comfortable as well. Therefore, I usually make detailed travel plans and choose a good place to stay. The place I stayed in Shaxi was the Ke Gong Di Cultural Inn. I hesitated a lot before booking, but once I checked in, I was glad about my choice. The tranquility and otherworldliness of Shaxi deserve a good inn to match it! The service and business philosophy of Ke Gong Di Cultural Inn make everyone feel warm. Just like this ancient town, it's so comfortable that it makes you want to settle down. When you're out and about, a delicious meal can soothe so much fatigue! When I was starving at night, I had my first taste of Shaxi, vaguely remembering eating scrambled eggs with tree flowers and the signature spicy meat. The portions were huge, and the taste was outstanding, truly worthy of being the hottest restaurant in Shaxi. The Pioneer Bookstore Shaxi Bai Ethnic Bookstore filled the void of cultural attractions on this trip. The bookstore's elegance and simplicity complement the serene indifference of Shaxi. I bought books and cultural and creative products related to Yunnan in the bookstore, which made me happier than replicating Li Xian's photo on the Poetry Tower 😊. I listened to the advice of the inn's auntie and didn't drive up because the road was too narrow. Instead, I hailed a little yellow car. Although it wasn't cheap, the feeling of chugging along the country roads was quite fun and made for a novel memory. It's been ten days since I returned from Shaxi, but it seems like I'm still lingering on the days spent standing on Sideng ancient street and daydreaming by the Yujin Bridge, missing Yunnan!
