Moganshan Scenic Area is located in Deqing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, belonging to the extension of Tianmu Mountain, with the main peak Ta Mountain at an altitude of 758 meters. The central area of Moganshan Scenic Area covers about 4000 acres, with main attractions including Jianchi, Luhuadang, Wuling Village, Xuguangtai, Dicuitan, Dakeng, Moganshan Lake, etc. The architectural landscape formed by more than 200 houses and villas on the mountain is known as the 'World Architecture Museum'. The vegetation of Moganshan Scenic Area belongs to the northern subzone of the mid-subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, with a forest coverage rate of up to 93.5%, including 136 families, 374 genera, and 614 species of vascular plants, among which there are more than ten kinds of national key protected plants and more than 200 famous old trees. There are also 16 families and more than 40 species of mammals, 27 families and more than 60 species of birds, 10 families and 24 species of reptiles, 7 families and more than 10 species of amphibians, and 153 families and 1102 species of insects in the Moganshan Scenic Area. In November 2021, the Moganshan Scenic Area was rated as the first batch of national tourism demonstration units by the National Tourism Standardization Technical Committee.
