Petronas Twin Towers Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Kuala Lumpur is a place that gets bombarded with questions, and it's a must-visit if you're here
Most people treat Kuala Lumpur as a transit city, but little do they know that these 7️⃣ spots in Kuala Lumpur are really photogenic, so don't miss out!
1️⃣Alva KL (Image 2)
Located on the 99th floor of Scott Star KLCC
An excellent spot to view the Twin Towers
㊙️The main thing is that it's really affordable, with main dishes averaging around 30+ per person, typical of good food at a good price, perfect for checking in, and the atmosphere instantly elevates your status!
2️⃣Batu Caves (Images 3.4.5)
If you like colorful things, then head straight to Batu Caves, where the rainbow 🌈 stairs are really, really photogenic. And if the weather is good, you can capture the sun shining through the entrance of the cave.
3️⃣Jalan Tunku Putra (Image 6)
This spot is not crowded, but it's also a great place to capture the Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur Tower.
4️⃣Rooftop of Lot 10 Shopping Centre (Images 7.8)
You can capture both the Kuala Lumpur Tower and the monorail 🚈 in the same frame, and there's also a lawn on the rooftop where you can take photos of people swinging with the Kuala Lumpur Tower in the background, and it's not too crowded.
5️⃣Putrajaya Pink Mosque (Images 9.10)
An absolutely beautiful pink fairy-tale castle 🏰, very photogenic. Inside, you can take pictures of the huge pink dome, and from across the river at keleb tasilk putrajaya, you can capture the full view of the pink mosque 🕌.
6️⃣Blue Mosque (Images 11.12.13.14)
The largest mosque in Malaysia, just as photogenic as the pink one, and comparatively less crowded.
7️⃣Opposite the Twin Towers intersection (Images 15.16)
Using a 0.5x wide-angle lens, you can capture long legs and the Twin Towers 🤫.
8️⃣Sleeping Lion Suites (Images 17.18)
Highly recommended hotel, the rooftop infinity pool is also really unbeatable, very photogenic, mainly because this hotel really has a high cost performance, just over 200, with an infinity pool on the rooftop, and a fitness area.
9️⃣Village Park Restaurant (Nasi Lemak)
The nasi lemak recommended by Hu Jing'an, all I can say is 'Baozi, go for it with your eyes closed.' This can be said to be the best nasi lemak I've had in Malaysia, bar none, mainly cheap and delicious, really too good.
Finally, what I want to say to everyone is, don't just focus on checking in and taking photos, stop and slow down, take a look at the scenery around you, then look at the people you're playing with, maybe the beauty around you is even more beautiful, respect🫡
The Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia 🇲🇾
#malaysiatrip
The Twin Towers of Drunken Beauty (Kuala Lumpur) are the most worth checking out in Kuala Lumpur. The Twin Towers, which are 452 meters tall, are distinctive and iconic buildings in Malaysia. The visual shock and perfection they bring are not just comparable to a single building. Here, we recommend the best photo station location for friends and friends, which is definitely better than what you imagine when taking photos. It is best to take photos from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm when there are relatively fewer people, so that more photos can be taken. When there are more unequal people, they need to queue up The arrow section in Figure 2 is the best space to capture the entire picture with a good visual effect. It is recommended to open the wide angle to 0.8 times the most exciting, and invert the phone lens. The best location for taking photos in the country is shown in Figure 3 and Figure 4. There is a lamp post and a right angled yellow line sign on Road 214 next to the entrance of Volkswagen Bank.
On the second day of Malaysia's visa-free travel in January 2024
I woke up naturally in the morning and left the hotel on foot for Petaling Street. The streetscape along the way was lush and it was quite comfortable to walk. The weather was really hot, and when the sun occasionally came out, it was essential to use an umbrella.
Petaling Street and Independence Square are quite close to each other, so you can visit both in one go. Today's lunch was at a restaurant we stumbled upon on Petaling Street; the taste was just so-so. In fact, Petaling Street has Michelin-recommended restaurants, but we didn't make a special trip there. The truth is, if you want to eat something delicious, you shouldn't be lazy.
After leaving Independence Square, we walked to Jalan Alor. This street isn't long, and both sides are lined with various restaurants, including some selling durian, but the prices are quite expensive. Since it was still early, we stopped at a nearby cafe on Jalan Alor for drinks to rest and plan the rest of our journey.
Close to dinner time, we went to eat at Congkak, which is also a Michelin-recommended restaurant. We liked it quite a bit; the prices weren't cheap but not too expensive either.
After a satisfying meal, we continued on foot to Pavilion Square. The New Year decorations at this square were really beautiful, with a strong atmosphere of the Year of the Dragon. The % Coffee inside the mall is cheaper than in China, and I really recommend it.
After resting for a while in the coffee shop, we continued on foot to the Petronas Twin Towers.
We took photos of the Petronas Twin Towers from various angles. Before going, I thought it was just a tall building, having seen many in China. But when I actually got close, I found it quite beautiful and couldn't help but want to take more photos.
The mall beneath the Petronas Twin Towers was bustling with people, and there were many dining options. We chose one at random and it didn't disappoint.
After dinner, we continued walking back to the hotel. Along the way, we encountered a durian stall and bought a box of durian flesh for 10 ringgit, which was just enough for two people. It's a pity we only thought of taking a photo after we finished eating.
The day of walking around Kuala Lumpur came to an end.
Regret coming late~~ My Malaysia
Today I'm sharing a Malaysia travel guide! If you're planning a trip to Malaysia, you definitely don't want to miss this guide! Let me introduce you to my favorite places—Malacca Waterfront and the Twin Towers!
First is the Malacca Waterfront, which has a unique historical background and a romantic atmosphere. You can stroll through the quaint streets, feel an extraordinary aura, and taste the local cuisine. If you are a lover of culture and history, then the Malacca Waterfront is definitely a place you can't afford to miss!
Next, let's talk about the Twin Towers, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, they are one of the most famous iconic buildings in Kuala Lumpur. These two interlocking, ingeniously designed towers rise up to 88 floors and are one of the landmarks of Kuala Lumpur. Overlooking the entire city from the tower, the view is spectacular!
Besides the above two attractions, there are many more places in Malaysia worth exploring and discovering! Such as Malaysia's Chinatown, Little India, and Red Square, etc.
In short, we should fully explore this magical and colorful country, full of vitality and beautiful scenery!🌞🌈

Genting Highlands Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh Restaurant
#familytrips2024
Check out our go-to spot for Bak Kut Teh in Kuala Lumpur! They just opened a new joint up in Genting Highlands, and it's got a cool vibe with some history behind it. I love the old photos and the bicycle they used to sell Bak Kut Teh – super unique! And let me tell you, the soup is packed with flavor, really hits the spot. Don't sleep on the side dishes either, especially those hardboiled eggs served in small bowls with the soup – so tasty! Plus, you can refill your soup for free. The staff are on point, quick and efficient. And the place is spotless too, definitely worth checking out!
Address: Unit No. 2, Ground Floor, Lot No. 21075, Jalan Permai 2, Genting Permai, 69000 Genting Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia
Free Entrance to Central Park @ Genting! 🎪
#malaysia
Yes, you heard it right! It's free entry to Central Park Genting Highland ♡
Going here at night makes me feel like I'm out of Malaysia somewhere around Europe. It's amazing to see there's a lot of cafes and restaurants open at night, with the natural cold weather up here at 21°C.
The best part, they have a huge projector that playd football game at night time, and also there's food trucks for you to try!
Amazingly, for durian lovers- you can not miss out to try their iconic musang king!
And for family and couples, go and try your luck and pro gamer movements to win plushies at their booths!
It is truly a romantic and cosy experience for me to be here. Definitely, a Gohtong Way ♡
Great indoor theme Park
#malaysia
Skytropolis is a indoor playground located at Genting Highlands . It is a fun place for children, parents and family. Most of the time queue is not that long(not school holiday)
Dont come too early as they only open from 2pm-9pm. Ticket can purchase directly on the ticketing counter. Now skyworld theme park is open, can consider buy hotel package with indoor & outdoor park, will be slightly cheaper.
Tip:Buy cheaper tickets online from Genting website. Otherwise it's RM10 more on-site. Best value is tickets for unlimited rides.
Nearest place to enjoy cold weather
#malaysia
Genting Highlands is known to be the nearest-to Singapore place to experience cold weather. because it’s very high up mountain hence explains the cool weather. Extremely perfect for weekend getaways. Genting Highland now has a mall call Sky Avenue and it has plenty of food restaurants, bars , casino and entertainment to cover all your needs. Malaysia Visa-Free | 7 Days 6 Nights Off-the-Beaten-Path Itinerary Guide
Just got back from Malaysia, took an unusual off-the-beaten-path route, traveling north from Malacca to Penang, exploring and wandering along the way. Besides the cities with Southeast Asian charm, there was also the freedom of durian orchards. This visa-free country is really too tempting. Sharing a less-traveled route suitable for the whole family.

D1: Shanghai - Kuala Lumpur - Malacca
D2: Malacca - Broga Orchard Hill (Durian Orchard) - Kuala Lumpur

Penang:
Compared to Kuala Lumpur, I prefer the world heritage site of Penang, which features a mix of Southeast Asian, Muslim, Chinese, and Indian architecture. The strong cultural atmosphere, interesting graffiti in the alleys, and the dazzling markets are all reasons why I like this old city. Although there are quite a few Michelin-starred restaurants in Penang, I still recommend saving some room in your stomach for the night market snacks!
Malacca:
Also a world heritage site, Malacca is a bit more colorful. After visiting the Baba-Nyonya Heritage Museum, I finally understood the origins of the Peranakans and learned more about the history of Zheng He's voyages to the Western Seas.
Ipoh:
Malaysia's little Guilin, a small town in the mountains, with lots of delicious food. Saw a Malayan tapir at the Sunway Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh! So cute~
Must Eat Durian:
How can you come to Malaysia and not eat durian! The durians in Kuala Lumpur, the dragon fruits in Sepang, and the pomelos in Ipoh are all delicacies not to be missed~
Tips:
1. Malaysia is visa-free, with no time difference from China, and flights to Kuala Lumpur are very convenient.
2. There are super many wild animals, hornbills and monkeys can be seen in the parks. Please do not feed them randomly to protect the ecology.

Batu Caves
#malaysia
Located just a few minutes walk from the Batu Caves KTM station, Batu Caves is known for the gigantic Lord Murugan statue and the colourful 272 steps up to the cave and temple.
There were not a lot of people when we went around 8am in the morning. The weather is also not so hot, making the climb a bit easier. The cave is quite big and you can go up further to access another area of the cave.
There are also a lot of monkeys around the bottom of the cave but quite a number of the monkeys climbed up when we were going down from the cave.

Experience the hospitality of Malaysia and start a comfortable journey from here
Experience the hospitality of Malaysia and start a comfortable journey from here
Escape the hustle and bustle on your holiday, get away from mobile signals, and choose an island resort to retreat from the world. Malaysia's high-end niche resorts are a top choice for a vacation getaway.
Flying with Malaysia Airlines is the best choice for traveling to Malaysia and the surrounding regions. In terms of flights to China, Malaysia Airlines operates 33 routes to 11 destinations in China.
The flight times from mainland China to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, are very convenient, which is a great time-saver for the precious holidays of working people.
Compared to other airlines, the seats and entertainment facilities are more comfortable. The planes are equipped with audio-visual entertainment systems, offering a wide range of movies and TV programs to watch. In-cabin WiFi has been added, and it's surprisingly free throughout the entire cabin, allowing work and entertainment without missing a beat, meeting the diverse needs of more passengers.
Malaysia Airlines' meals have always been popular. Satay is a traditional Malay dish, made of marinated beef, lamb, or chicken skewered and grilled over a moderate flame, then dipped in a thick layer of satay sauce. Satay has become an excellent feature of Malaysia Airlines' hospitality, with fresh ingredients and made daily. Business class also offers local specialties such as satay Indonesian fried rice, Hainanese chicken rice, and Nyonya curry fish.
Malaysia Airlines has opened a newly built VIP lounge. The design concept of the new VIP room inherits from Malaysian cultural heritage, blending Malaysian culture, art, cuisine, and architectural design elements, and condenses the warmth and hospitality of Malaysia in an authentic and modern way.
On the plane, choose a window seat. Whether it's the buildings flashing by during takeoff, the city unfolding from parts to the whole during ascent, or the later magnificent mountains, beautiful islands, endless deserts, and continuous forests, the constantly changing scenery always keeps one excited. Even when flying into the clouds, watching the various clouds crawl slowly at different heights, the mood becomes peaceful.
KLIA arrival food
#kualalumpur super budget lunch/dinner at the airport. Arrived quite late in the afternoon, I haven't had any meal yet so decided to eat at airport before heading out. Chance upon this local food stall where I saw many sit down here either to drink coffee or for a meal.
Turn out to be very affordable meal indeed. For the price of less than RM 15, I get my nasi lemak and huge cup of coffee. I love how generous they are in the portion.
If you need quick lunch/dinner fix, do head on to this place!

Starbucks @ KLIA 1
#wheretogo for a good coffee & meal in Terminal 1 Kuala Lumpur International Airport. It's quite hidden behind but you will know there's starbucks if your eyes is sharp enough.
Like a real cafe setting, this place is nicely decorated and there is a section where we can see parked airplane.
Price of the food and beverages here is pretty standard. I got mac & cheese for RM 21.95 (SG $6+), not bad. Taste like the one in Singapore 7 eleven.

Little Nyonya in Penang
Rent a Kebaya at the Nyonya Palazzo and you will get free entry into the Peranakan Museum (just next door)!
We had a good time exploring the museum (took so many photos and videos while pretending we are filming The Little Nyonya drama series with the family) and enjoyed some Peranakan food and kuehs thereafter.
Definitely one of the highlight for our Penang trip!

Pranglin Mall 1st avenue
#malaysia
The next time you are visiting penang, you can consider visiting the 1st avenue and the pranglin mall. The pranglin mall has been there for decades when we went there many years ago. Now with the newly opened 1st avenue mall, it really brings in the crowd. Similar to other shopping complexes, there are many retail outlets within the mall itself. There are many dining options to choose from. There is also a food court which serves a wide range of food at an economical and affordable prices at the higher level of the mall. We had our meal at the chicken rice restaurant located on the basement floor. We enjoyed shopping at both the malls which are just nearby each other. You can allocate an hour or two to visit the two malls.
Gardens at Temple
#malaysia
.There is a beautiful floral garden at the lek kok si temple. You would walk past the garden full of beautiful flowers. There are hibiscus, Roselle, marigold, mint flower, ginger flower, and many others. Resting at the sides of the garden are hundreds of Buddha statues surrounding the garden. There is hardly any shelter at the garden area as the plants require full sunlight to grow with good health. Bring along an umbrella or a hat when exploring the garden at the temple. You can take a grab from the town area to reach the temple for about 15 to 25 MYR depending on your location. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to reach here.
blessed to be living in multiracial country
