Baili Field in Menyuan (Qinghai)

On our North-West-China Roadtrip we drove back to Xining on our last day. On our way we discovered this beautiful oilseed rape flower field. The colours together with the mountains and mountain villages look stunning. Local farmers sell fresh and tasty honey. 🏴 How to get here? You can drive by car or take a bus and train to MenYuan station (门源站). It's a 2-3 hours drive from Qinghais capital Xining. 🍂 When to go? I recommend May-September. The weather is nice and daytime temperature is warm. The sunset is especially nice! 🎟️ There is a scenic spot called 百里油菜花景区. It's not necessary to go there, you have more or less the same view anywhere else.
