Confucius Temple The Confucius Temple was first built during the Song Dynasty, located next to Gongyuan Street on the north bank of the Qinhuai River, originally a place to worship Confucius, and has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. It is known as one of China's four major Confucian temples along with the Confucius Temples in Beijing, Qufu, and the Wen Temple in Jilin, and is also the main attraction of the Confucius Temple Qinhuai River scenic area. 2. Nanjing Museum The Nanjing Museum is located on the southern foothills of Zijin Mountain, inside the north side of Zhongshan Gate. Here you can see ancient artifacts such as the 'Golden-threaded Robe' from 'The Lost Tomb' series, as well as appreciate calligraphy and painting art, or even take a walk on the old streets for a journey through time. 3. Hongshan Forest Zoo The Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo is located in the north of Nanjing city, overlooking Zijin Mountain to the east and bordering Xuanwu Lake to the south. It boasts unique forest landscapes and animal resources, and is an important ecological card of Jiangsu Province. It gathers more than 260 species and over 3,000 rare wild animals from around the world.
