The earthly pavilion stands for a thousand years, the world's collection of books is in this one place

The founder of 'Tianyi Pavilion', Fan Qin, was a man from the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. At the age of 27, he passed the imperial examination and began to serve in various parts of the country, leaving his mark in more than half of China. He had a passion for books, and wherever he went, he would carefully collect and preserve valuable local books, embracing all kinds of books on classics and history. Later, because he offended the powerful minister Yan Song and his son, he resigned and returned to his hometown, bringing back the rare books he had collected throughout his life and named it 'Tianyi Pavilion'. Fan Qin preserved the cultural collection with his personal efforts. This achievement was not recognized during his lifetime, but was appreciated after his death, which is a great merit; this matter was lonely during his lifetime, but glorious after his death, truly a scholar.
