The sunset over the Mekong in Pakse

Pakse is a capital city of Champasak province, located in southern Laos, where the Mekong and Xe Don rivers meet. Its central Wat Luang is a lavishly decorated Buddhist temple where monks collect alms at sunrise. The city's past is reflected in its French colonial architecture, especially in the old quarter near Xe Don River. We were spending someday in pakse during last winter ( February 2022) - We went to Vat phou champasak where is the Buddhist heritage temple with a fine architecture. - Walking a long Mekong river with a great sunshine and sunset view ever in Laos, there are several restaurants, coffee shop and hotel in the old town and along side Mekong.
