Phu Quoc is considered the birthplace of Caodaism. Cao Dai combines Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, Islam and Confucianism. Cao Dai Temple is built on high mountains surrounded by beautiful trees overlooking the sea. This is also the reason why the temple is known as Cao (High) Temple. Those who want to reach the temple will have to go through numerous detours on steep slopes. Behind the temple there is Duong Dong Temple. Khao Dai Temple is open to the public, with worship ceremonies held from 06:00 to 12:00 every day.
