Mount Zhuoer

Mount Zhuoer is located in Ladongtai Village, Babao Town, Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is a national 4A level tourist attraction, closely adjacent to Babao River and facing the sacred mountain of Tibetan area, Ami Dongshuo (Niu Xin Mountain) across the river. It is said that Mount Zhuoer and Niu Xin Mountain, the town mountain of Qilian, are a pair of deeply affectionate lovers, silently guarding the two banks of Babao River, jointly protecting the mountains and waters of Qilian. Mount Zhuoer belongs to the Danxia landform, composed of red sandstone and gravel. The highest altitude of the developed Mount Zhuoer scenic area is 3100 meters. It has been named as the 'Musician's Field Collection Base' and 'Photographer's Creation Base'.
