Speaking of the Forbidden City, there is actually another one in addition to Beijing in China. This is the Shenyang Imperial Palace in Shenyang, also known as the Shengjing Palace. The history of the Forbidden City in Shenyang is much shorter than that of the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is only 400 years ago. In fact, it was only a short period of time in the early Qing Dynasty. When the Qing Dynasty moved into Beijing, the Shenyang Imperial Palace was only used as the “Public Palace” where Liudu Palace exists. The area of the Forbidden City in Shenyang is much smaller than that of the Forbidden City in Beijing. The craftsmanship of the ancient buildings is still remarkable, and it is well preserved. It was also included in the UNESCO World Heritage sites List in 2004.
