There’s some opening promotion so it’s the best time to try out without paying a bomb at the main restaurant. There’s a queue forming but the restaurant was only 20-30% filled. I guess the cashier for order taking was really slow. We ordered the Plant-based Mapo Don and Noodles and chose the lowest level of spiciness. The food did not take too long to arrive. The Mapo tofu topping is quite generous and covered almost the whole plate. While the tofu is indeed smooth, it’s just too spicy despite just at level 1 spiciness. Got a moment I thought it’s “Mala” instead! My tongue became numb and I washed down a can of drink at one shot to stop sweating from the spiciness.
