A little-known garden in Suzhou that even the locals don't know about, where the bitter oleander flowers bloom

Kuang Gong Ci is a special shrine dedicated to Kuang Zhong, a quiet and less-visited place, recently the bitter oleander trees have blossomed, and once again, I am impressed by this little-known garden hidden in the alleys of Suzhou. Kuang Zhong (1383--1443), styled Bo Lu, was from Jing'an County, Jiangxi Province. Initially a minor official, he was recommended during the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty to be a middle-ranking official in the Ministry of Rites. In the fifth year of the Xuande era (1430), he became the prefect of Suzhou, a respected clean official among the people, and was known as one of the three 'Upright Officials' in Chinese folklore, alongside Bao Zheng and Hai Rui.
