Ubon Ratchathani
Wat Phra That Nong Bua, is located in Mueang District. It is one of the most famous and important temples in Ubon Ratchathani province. It has a beautiful and interesting architecture, "Phra That Chedi Sri Maha Pho", the annual relic of the year of the Snake. It was built to symbolize the 25th century of Buddhism in B.E. Prof. 1957, modeled after the pagoda in Bodhgaya, India. Inside the temple is enshrined the relics. And 2 large Naga statues Located at the entrance of the pagoda. The white relics contrast with the golden pattern beautifully. The exterior is a low relief image at the relics outside. Tell the story about the Ten nations. Below the relics are Buddhist disciples in Buddhism. The base supports Phra That Chedi Sri Maha Pho with Naga Garuda and giants. Inside the pagoda is enshrined. And many beautiful Buddha images. In addition, the Kamphaeng Kaew area enshrines a small pagoda in all four corners. Beautiful with various angels. In front of the relics There are 2 large serpent statues, namely Grandfather Kritkornkot. And Grandma Maneeket That is enshrined together According to the beliefs of Isan people who have faith in the serpent For tourists to pray for prosperity.
