A guide to strolling with kids in Yangzhou after sleeping in, delicious and fun!

Fireworks in March, down to Yangzhou, although it's just the beginning of spring, we can't wait to go out and play with the family ❤️, and we took advantage of the good weather to set off! With two kids, we always go for a laid-back approach to outings, which we found to be especially suitable for the slow-paced city of Yangzhou. 📆Day1 15:00 Depart from Shanghai by car, 3.5H drive, check into Shangri-La Yangzhou 16:00 Tianzi Hair Salon, dad experiences a facial trim 16:30 Luqin Foot Art, parents experience a foot treatment 18:00 Xianggong Dinner, experience the Three-Head Feast 20:00 Family swimming 📆Day2 9:00 Liuyuan Chun Tea House for morning tea 11:00 Hanfu experience 12:00 Garden Tea House for lunch 14:00 Grand Canal Museum 20:00 Dongguan Street–Pishi Street for food and drinks 📆Day3 9:00 Hotel breakfast, get√ Jiangjiaqiao dumplings and noodles, Laohushan potstickers 10:30 Yangzhou Museum 12:00 Check out It looks like a full schedule, but most of the time is spent in the hotel 🏨, like the famous Yangzhou 'Three Knives': facial trim, foot treatment, and dining are all taken care of in the hotel without the need to queue, saving time to play with the kids, and neither parents nor children get tired. 🌿Especially love the hotel's meals🍱, the value for money is too good! The Xianggong's 👑 Three-Head Feast was a stunning surprise for the foodie parents, every dish was exquisite and delicious, a meal that covered all of Yangzhou's signature dishes. 🌿The morning tea at Liuyuan Chun Tea House is also outstanding, especially the special 🌈 rainbow soup dumplings, with a ceremonial feeling of gongs and drums🥁, letting the kids cut the seal themselves, teaching us the authentic way to eat, the kids exclaimed it was fun! With such delicious morning tea without the need to queue, who would want to go elsewhere?! 🌿The Grand Canal Museum is a must-visit, remember to book in advance with a small 🍊, parking 🅿️ can be found at 🔍 West Gate Parking Lot, plenty of spaces and it's 🆓. Especially the second hall, wearing Hanfu for photos is too brilliant! Rented the Hanfu from the hotel, took a round of photos in Liuyuan and wore it straight to the museum, and even received compliments from the museum staff, saying that the material and style were clearly different from those of the small shops outside, proud 😎 🌿Yangzhou Museum is a hidden gem, right across from the hotel, just across one street, stroll over after breakfast. The history of block printing is eye-opening, and the Dragon Year Zodiac Art Exhibition is lively and interesting, especially suitable for kids. And it's much quieter than the Grand Canal, enhancing the experience 🆙! As for Dongguan Street and Pishi Street, all we can say is that we've been there... been there, done that. The most wonderful season of the year in Yangzhou is coming up, quickly take the kids, with a fortune, and descend upon Yangzhou!
