Xidi

Xidi is the top stream of ancient Huizhou villages. || The photos are all taken on the 30th-31st of this month. The spatial structure of the streets and alleys is clear, the scale of the streets is pleasant, the commerce is moderate, with rapeseed fields, and with viewing platforms. You can find all the best features of an ancient village combined in Xidi. At dusk, it's brilliantly golden and very lively, while after a rainy morning, it's full of the misty rain typical of the Jiangnan region. Highly recommend staying for a night. There's a light show in the evening, and the next morning you can take a walk in the flower fields, then go up to the spring mountain for a look. Take advantage of the influx of tourists to enjoy the ancient streets when they're less crowded. Unfortunately, this year's rapeseed flower season can be considered over, with only a few flowers scattered in the fields. We'll have to come back next year during the peak bloom.
