An amazing medieval period YorkCity Walls

This incredible city walls built during Romans invasion of work. This protective wall was built to secure the medieval historic city. What an amazing experience walking on the historic wall. It has got 4 watch towers called as Bars. We entered through Bootham bar climbing up the tower and had an exit at Monk bar. This part of the stretch covers the breathtaking side view of the York Minister. #york #yorkcitywalls #christmas
