Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Yarlung Zangbo, you are in the middle of autumn. With a total length of 504.6 kilometers and an average depth of 2268 meters, the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is the world's largest canyon. It is known as the "last human myth" and is regarded by scientists as "the keyhole that opens the door to the history of the earth." In the Tibetan language, Yaru refers to the sky from the sky. The autumn colors of
Yaluzang are very charming. Every year in late October, the golden and dark green leaves are intertwined, like a painting that attracts many photographers.
Today's weather is not ideal. After an afternoon, although I can't see the whole picture of Mount Kinabalu, I can still see the main peak of Mount Nanga Bawa. Waiting, just because it is worth it.
Sam Hu.
The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world, is called the last secret on the earth. It has both the harsh and cold of the Himalayas and the warmth of the Amazon River. When you visit the Grand Canyon with the scenic car, you will arrive first. In the Love Square, you can see that the distant Nanjia Bawa Peak is like a shy girl who is finally unveiled, and the huge triangular peaks are clearly visible. The height of 7782 meters in Nanga Bawa is also proud of the world. Geographers like to analyze the peculiarity of Nanga Bawa from a scientific point of view. The Tibetans think it is a holy place and call it "the mountain." "As a general tourist, I just sigh for the beauty of its masculine beauty. The peaks of the triangle are vigorous and powerful, and the king is demeanor."
The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is the formation of the Himalayas movement and the rushing of the river. After passing through two high valleys at an altitude of over 6,000 meters, it forms a peculiar U-shaped turn around the Nanga Bawa Peak, and the American branch. The Grand Canyon is exactly the same, but it is longer and deeper.
[Tips]
Transportation and tickets: The scenic spot is very large and there is no public transportation. So if you want to visit the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, you can only participate in the tour or chartered car. You can usually travel in Lhasa or Linzhi. The group, the group price generally includes tickets.
Diet: There are restaurants in the scenic spot, most of them are opened by Sichuanese. The taste is not bad
Note: Although the altitude is not too high, about 2880 meters, but after all, it is a plateau area, pay attention to high anti.

Is Motuo, recommended by Hu Ge, really worth visiting?
It was once the only county in China that required a ticket for entry, and it was also the last county in China to be accessible by road. With snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, and ancient villages, every scene is breathtaking. It is Tibet's Motuo~
~
How to get to Motuo?
🚗Self-driving: Currently, the Zhamo Highway is the route to enter Motuo, but the road is closed to traffic after 8 p.m., and Motuo implements a single-exit, double-entry policy, for example, exit only on the 1st, and entry only on the 2nd.
🚌Bus: There is currently only one bus from Nyingchi to Motuo, which can be taken from Bayi Town in Nyingchi (departs at 8 a.m.)
⚠Attention: ✔A border pass is required for Motuo, as well as an ID card, otherwise entry is not allowed
⏰Best time to travel: April to May and September to November each year
~

Namjagbarwa Peak
With its steep peak shape, sharp mountain tips, and huge, pointed triangular peak body soaring into the clouds, it is awe-inspiring.

Tibet | Winter travel offers great value for money, and this is the real Tibet
🚗Some say, 'Tibet in July and August belongs to tourists, but only in winter can you see the real Tibet.' I didn't believe it until this winter when I came to Tibet. Indeed, there are many sceneries in winter that you can't see in summer, and I now believe the statement at the beginning. Since winter travel to Tibet is such a great value, what exactly can you see in Tibet during winter?
1. The Potala Palace is a destination many people aim for when visiting Lhasa. In winter, there's no need to queue, and admission is free (200y), with reservations available the day before. Plus, you can take both the east and west routes, which is perfect for those who want to delve deeper into Tibetan culture.
2. Watching migratory birds in Lhasa has become a new highlight of Lhasa tourism in winter. If you're lucky, you can also see the black-necked crane. In Longwangtan Park, at the foot of the Potala Palace, the figures of migratory birds can be seen everywhere.
3. The air in Tibet is clean in winter, and places like Namtso and Yamdrok Lake are excellent spots for stargazing.
4. Snow-capped mountains can be seen everywhere in the Tibetan region in winter, but it doesn't feel cold when the sun is out during the day.
5. Mount Namjagbarwa in Nyingchi, known as the 'Shy Girl Peak,' is often shrouded in clouds and mist. But in winter in Tibet, there's a high chance of seeing the golden sunlight on Mount Namjagbarwa.
6. Appreciating blue ice is an essential part of 'winter travel in Tibet.' In winter, Puma Yumco, Ranwu Lake, Namtso, Yamdrok Lake, and Basum Lake offer unique scenery. The lakes freeze over, and the sunlight reflects off the bottom of the lake, creating blue ice and emerald ice, like something out of a fairy tale.
7. If you like the outdoors, you don't need to go to Alaska or Iceland to experience magnificent glaciers. The Renlongba Glacier, Laigu Glacier, Midui Glacier, and Qudenima Glacier are well worth a visit.
8. Tibet is rich in geothermal resources, with hot springs like Yangbajing, Dezhong, Riduo, Woka, and Quzika, making winter hot springs in the snow land something to look forward to.
9. If you happen to catch the Tibetan New Year, various folk festivals and cultural activities centered on the 'Tibetan New Year,' such as the Butter Lamp Festival, Fairy Festival, and Lantern Festival, are colorful and exciting. Especially this year, as the Lunar New Year and the Tibetan New Year joyfully 'meet,' visitors to Tibet can experience the New Year on the snow-covered plateau, feel the bustling atmosphere of the Tibetan people preparing for the New Year at the Lhasa Chongsaikang market, and experience Tibetan New Year customs at homestays like Deji Tibetan Home.
🚗Precautions
1. The oxygen is relatively thin in winter, so pay more attention to altitude sickness, and don't drink alcohol after arriving!
2. In winter, there are fewer people in the small cities of the Tibetan region, so if you're not familiar with the road conditions, it's best to travel with a group.
3. The outdoor attractions depend on the weather, so keep a calm attitude, as long as you are safe, that's good.
4. There's a big temperature difference, so pay attention to keeping warm and preventing cold.

Suosong Village Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Namchabarwa, hardest to see the panorama
Namchabarwa is the highest mountain in Nyingchi City, Tibet, peak at 7,782 meters, and has the title of Father of Tibetan Mountains. The body of Nanga Bawa is covered with snow all year round and the clouds are lingering. It never reveals its true face easily, so it is also called Shy Girl Mountain in Chinese. We were really lucky this time. In the evening, the mountain peaks were still clouded and misty. When the sun set at 8:07 pm in the evening, all the clouds and mist were dispersed. We even saw the magnificent sight of that the golden sun shines on the mountain. It is said that this mountain range is like a girl lying down, from right to left are her head, chest and feet. The best view point is in Suosong Village in the Yarlung Zangbo River Gorge. There is a milk tea shop in the village. We just drank milk tea and watched all the mountains exposed. It was so shocking!

Capturing Fairy Tale Scenes | No Need to Go to Suosong Village for Peach Blossoms in Nyingchi Anymore
Capturing scenes straight out of a fairy tale in Nyingchi. The Peach Blossom Festival is about to commence, lasting only fifteen days a year, so hurry up! Suosong Village doesn't need much introduction, but be careful not to follow the navigation to get there. Usually, the navigation recommends taking the south bank of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, but if you zoom in on the map, you can see there's another route on the north bank. This route has more speed limits and is narrower, but the scenery is absolutely stunning and is a must-visit.
This set of photos was taken near Molang Village on the north bank, with a large peach blossom forest by the river and Mount Namcha Barwa in the background. It only costs 10 or 15 yuan per person to enter, which is much cheaper than Suosong Village. There are many beautiful scenes on the north bank, and you can even see the most beautiful scenery without going to Suosong Village. More shares to come in the future. Tibet Chengdu Xinjiang

Do not come to Sosong Village in Linzhi, Tibet! Otherwise
Otherwise, you will definitely be dazzled by its beauty!
★Please recommend to big data to find travel companions for Tibet from July to September!
❷Tibet is very popular during the summer, and Linzhi is truly a hidden gem! I highly recommend everyone to explore Sosong Village by the Yarlung Tsangpo River, avoiding the traditional tourist hotspots. It's a completely different experience: no need to rush for sightseeing and photo ops, just quietly enjoy the mornings and evenings of Sosong, listen to the roar of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, watch the sunlight gilding the peaks of Namjagbarwa, and it will surely become a beautiful memory of your trip.
Chen stayed in Sosong Village, Linzhi, Tibet for three days and two nights, staying at the best scenic location in Sosong Village, Namjagbarwa Mountain Residence, and dining at the hotel's Nanfeng Huayin Restaurant, with the best view of Namjagbarwa Peak.
During the stay, I was lucky enough to see the sunlight gilding the peaks, which was spectacular! It's like a real-life Shangri-La. The restaurant has delicious Tibetan pork, dry pot ribs, shredded potatoes, and fish-flavored shredded pork. Every day, after eating and drinking to my heart's content, I would relax in the hotel courtyard, not caring about anything else. I didn't want to leave this comfortable life at all, and I highly recommend this accommodation!
Touring Tips:
1. The altitude from Linzhi to Sosong Village will rise from 2800 meters to 3500 meters, be aware of altitude sickness at all times.
2. There is a big temperature difference between morning and evening, so be sure to add clothes.
3. Nanfeng Huayin Restaurant is highly recommended for their boiled yak meat and yak meat mushroom soup pot. The locally sourced fresh yak meat is full of flavor, and once you start eating, you can't stop.

The wind is relatively mild in the morning,
which is convenient for shooting.

Bomi Peach Blossom Valley Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
I thought the peach blossoms in Linzhi were beautiful until I visited the ones in Bomi
❤️Recommended reason:
Bomi Peach Blossom Valley🌸 follows the largest tributary of the Parlung Tsangpo River, the Boidoi Tsangpo, heading north all the way to Zepu Village at the northernmost 90 kilometers. Along the clear turquoise riverbanks, the further north you go, the denser the peach blossoms become, especially from Linqiong Village to Yuxu Township. Both sides are dense peach forests, with thick peach trees forming a pale pink cloud.
🌟🌟Especially recommended peach blossom villages:
✅Must experience:
Danka Village
Often the first village before entering the Peach Blossom Valley, located on the south bank of the Parlung Tsangpo, yet often overlooked by tourists due to a bridge. Here, the river, peach blossoms, snow mountains, cattle and horses, villages, and grasslands are integrated harmoniously, offering a different view at every step. The village charges an entrance fee of 10 yuan per person, which is completely worth it compared to those well-known peach villages. More houses are on the left side of the village, while the right side has more peach blossoms, offering a comfortable and pleasant stroll for visitors.
Linqiong Village
Situated between Qiongduo Town and Yuxu Township, the dense peach forest on the south side of the village is stunning from afar. The density here is higher than other places, as seen from the drone footage, covering the entire river beach with full white and pink. The road passes through the village, with lush peach blossoms on both sides, making one feel as if they are in a peach blossom utopia. The Yusha Village across the river on the hillside also seems to be draped in colorful clouds, offering a breathtaking view across the river. In addition, the Haiding Village to the south and north of Yuxu Township and the Reba Village are dense with wild peach forests, which are very impressive.
Qiongduo Town
The four villages along the north side of the river, Liekang Village—Bakang Village—Xiamuka—Yusar, are staggered in height, one after another, offering a feast for the eyes. The four villages are very close to each other and seamlessly connected. As a midway point, Qiongduo Town has relatively convenient accommodations and dining. For a short trip to Bomi Peach Blossom Valley, you can return from here, take a mid-line to Yuxu Township, or a long line to Zepu Village for a trek to the Zepu Glacier.
