Our stay at KSL Hotel was pleasant. We enjoyed our stay because of the hotel staff's great service. The location was great as the hotel was just beside the KSL Mall which was very much convenient for us. There were many eateries and nice foods around KSL Hotel.
Room@22nd Flr was very spacious, clean and well maintained. Location is great as situated within Mid Valley Southkey Shopping Mall and easy to commute from JB Sentral (approx 35mins J15 bus ride@RM$1.70). Check-in by Alex was smooth and took less than 15mins and check-out took less than 5mins; very efficient despite hotel being ”sold out” during stay. We didnt use the pool or gym, only had ”welcome drinks”; small pink coloured lychee flavoured at the 28th Flr. Breakfast was ok though quality can be improved; salad greens not fresh, oily sambal and hardered rice but service was tops despite the crowd.
It was my first time booking an apartment for my family stay.
Staff from Fuju Homestay were most helpful even before we started our stay at their property. They were most proactive in briefing and guiding us of the check-in procedures as well as directional and travel options to R&F from CIQ.
A little challenge I faced was retrieving the key card from the mail box. No fault of theirs, just my bad eyesight doesn't work well with small size numbers and glare from the lights in the mail box room didnt help much.
Upon entering our unit, we were greeted by a very prestine clean condition of the place. The place is very well kept and clean. We had a minor issue with the fan remotes, Fuju staff was extremely fast in their response (faster than calling 999, haha...) Though we didn't manage to resolve the issue, it was still a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
Just some comments for improvement would be the labelling for the soap and shampoo. Was a little too small and almost blended in with the background of the tiles. They also have the most interesting bidet spray I've ever come across. Took me awhile to figure out how it really works.
Hopefully the surrounding areas of the building will improve quickly. Not much amenities but grabbing around was still convenient. I wish we had more time to explore other parts of the property. We're looking forward to booking another stay there for our next visit. Many thanks to the staff who attended our fan remotes issue, unfortunately forgot to get his name. His help was much appreciated. Overall a very good experience and definitely worth returning for future visits.
P/S: Could not upload the video on how to use the bidet spray. Will post on my Google review if possible.

Helpful and kind front desk receptionists. Requested for the highest floor away from lift and traffic noises so they really gave me a nice unit facing city view, but the neighbour next door was quite noisy but that’s ok didn’t affect me much. Room was spacious but not clean, found strands on hair on the floor and in the bathroom. The bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned properly too. As someone who is a cleanliness freak, it really affected my stay. TV has both local and singaporean channels and can also connect to Netflix, but the wifi was quite weak and slow but the maintenance came to fix that. Room amenities such as floor slippers, towels and dental kits were provided, however I found a small stain on the bath towel but that’s ok as there was a spare. The Airbnb is close to many nearby eateries and within walking distance to KSL, which was what I appreciated. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and peaceful sleep. Will revisit again on my day off! Kudos to the front desk staff for excellent guest services! 😍

lovedddd the hotel stay there! super clean room and toilet. love it so much! and it's close to sssooooo many food and massage places! even near woodfire which is a must go if you love great burgers and brisket!
would've given service 5 stars if the night receptionist wasn't so attitude. called cos the Aircon couldn't work, she already gave the bochap attitude with a SIGH. but I discovered later I didn't switch on the Aircon switch. so I called again to tell her to cancel. her response? ”K” and hung up. I even said sorry and thank you. seriously.

Overall its a good experience staying here at Holiday Villa.
Room was clean and sheets were clean..breakfast was ample choices w spacious seatings.
However 2 feedback
When we were checking in on a Sat eve at 5pm we were waiting for 6 rooms almost 45 mins and we were the only ones.
Not sure whats the delay caused by as i noyice the staff attending to us was looking at his screen for a long time.
Safety Proposal
While your toilet is spacious there is a high risk of falls esp for kids and elderly as yr toilet shower area does not have the safty gran bars to steady ourselves while imunder the shower and soaping on a slippery wet floor without friction.
The tiles should be layered with rought or fast drying texture for safety.
So either lace the tile surface or installl saftey bars or both.
Do review this urgently..No one should fall inside the toilet while bathing esp since its only the overhead rain shower and no handheld shower piece.
Hope this suggestion help to prevent accidental falls waiting to happen.

Came here with a big group. Hotel concierge was nice to try and accommodate to our requests to be on the same floor!
Strategic location, next to a mall and provided free parking 🅿️ (can be a little hard to find - turn left after the hotel lobby and you’ll see the entrance)

The Condominium is in between KSL and Holiday Plaza. Very convenient location. Everything is good and new. Too bad the infinity pool is closed for servicing. The 1st night stay was slightly noisy at night from the noise of motorcycles. Avery management is sweet to provide us with complimentary earplugs. Avery management also provided us with free use of Netflix. The aircon was super powerful and the compound is secured with guards on 24/7 duty. Free parking was provided at level 3 and 4 of the building. We will definitely stay here again when we come to JB. Thanks Avery staff for your excellent services provided!
Decided to book last minute - initially cant book for family of 2A2C.
WhatsApp them, replies was….sluggish.
Finally manage to book and the room was…not like the initial ones. Previous booking it was really great. Room size room cleanliness.
The room we got was small but there’s multiple hairs on the carpet. Especially with kids, that was just a no no.
Call them via the phone provided, was put on hold and the line got cut off 🙂
Tried calling again, took quite a while before finally got connected.
Upgrade the room for RM80.
Whatever that was book on trip wasn’t as per advertised.
Second, it was drizzling. So we went downstairs to take a look at the swimming area. There’s no towels. Call the front desk ask if the swimming pool is open, they mention “I think it’s open”
Breakfast was subpar.

Had a great stay at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre for the 2nd time! Staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Location is super convenient too.
One concern though - the lift access to guest floors felt a bit too open. Anyone can press the button and get up to the floors, even with the card reader being overridden. Feels like a safety risk, especially in a busy city centre hotel. Hope they look into beefing up security for guests' peace of mind.
Overall, would still recommend - but hope they address this!”

Great
GGuest UserClean room. Friendly & helpful staff. Location not so convenient cos of the RTS construction. Swimming pool & other facilities on level 13 under renovation during our stay. Shower screen glass door faulty, cannot close completely, water flow out when we shower. Whole toilet floor wet. Floor tiles not the anti fall tiles. Breakfast was so so only. Lots of varieties but taste not there. I rather they focus on fewer dishes and taste good.

Very Good
GGuest UserOverall nice stay, deduct one point for cleanliness due to ants. Other than that, all are good. There is water filter, fridge, washing machine and also a slide to entertain the kids. Nice set rise view as well.
I was still worry about the key collection but it wasn't that hard than what I have imagined.
There is two to three mini mart downstairs for easy purchase of daily items and even biscuits, coffee and milk.
Eatery more limited, one Malay eatery store, one Chinese eatery store and one more like Chinese restaurant I guess.
The Chinese eatery, provide a wide range of food and there is different menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Overall a breeze stay with Nest Home.. Thanks
Eed anA hotel that i like that is far from the noisy part of jb. Place for me to just chill and sleep, after a day out to shop and makan. Hungry at night or early morning order food, pickup eat on bed and watch TV.
Room is big and clean, aircon strong and make me sleep until tomorrow. Toilet water also hot, feel shiok. Washing machine, shiok I wash clothes then go back can relax no need wash.
Then cny strike midnight, fireworks just out side my balcony. Nice but I scared le, keep shooting fireworks till early morning. Feel like going to hit my balcony. Whole place smoky like got fog. Scary experience, adventure!
Everything is good, but just during checkout the staff looks like a senior staff serving me no expression, no words, shocking by such service.
JJust good enoughI was there for 3 nights, booking 2 rooms with queen size bed.
It was a less than satisfactory experience. I specifically requested for rooms away from elevators but they gave me 2 rooms that are right next to their employee elevator. So it means, the elevator is in between of the 2 rooms that I booked for my parents and I. No doubt, the employee elevator meant less activity but it's still next to the elevator where ppl could easily come up and down.
Secondly, we were unable to get the key card to open the door to the corner room that is for my parents. Took 1 trip down to concierge to inform them about the problem. They programmed the key card again and problem still exists. Only after I told them to relocate my parents to a different floor that they mentioned that the battery in the scanner of the door ran out so they have to get technician to change them. So, that left a bad impression from the getgo.
Thirdly, once we got on that floor, it smelled bad. I had to get housekeeping to spray air-freshener to get rid of the smell. I believe it from the drainage, where if water wasn't used or flushed down, it can start to smell. So my question was, how long was the room toilets not cleaned or flushed? If the rooms were occupied, surely it shouldn't smell.
Fourth, the pool was not what is expected of a hotel pool. Even a boutique hotel pool look better than that. But I don't care too much about pools as I am looking for good place to rest after spending a lot of time sightseeing when I'm traveling.
Fifth, noise insulation wasn't good. I could hear the guest in the next room snoring from my room. Let alone if the guest spoke loudly, I could hear.
The staff were polite and kind for the most part. One or 2 staff may not know certain things but they are probably new to the job and are on training. Not a big matter.
It is situated in a good location. It is 20-25 mins away from Johor city square. It is in a nice suburban neighbourhood, but within a commercial round area with a park in the middle. There is even a big Aeon Mall right opposite the hotel. Traffic isn't bad going into that area.
If you're looking to spend a lot of time in the room during your travel, this is not the one for you. If you want a comfortable room to rest for the night, this is good enough.
AAnonymous UserRoom@22nd Flr was very spacious, clean and well maintained. WWinter14We stayed in this apartment with a group of five, and overall it was a comfortable stay. The unit has 3 bedrooms and 4 beds, which was just nice for our group size. The location is great, with a good surrounding environment and conveniently close to KSL, making it easy for food and shopping.
Access to the apartment was smooth and secure, with card access for the lift and a number lock for the door, which we appreciated.
However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The main issue was the toilet sewage smell—one of the rooms had a very strong and unpleasant odor. The unit, located on level 24, also doesn’t feel very new, and some fixtures like the door knob were rusty.
On our third night, the air conditioner started leaking, which was quite inconvenient. Hopefully, the owner can look into regular servicing of the aircon and maintenance of the unit.
Overall, a decent stay for the location and space, but better upkeep would definitely improve the experience.

Good
CCandace KThe gym, though small, was well-equipped with towels and bottled water. The kids' play area clearly hadn't been tidied up after use, and no one seemed to be cleaning it. It was also incredibly hot in there, with no AC remote in sight. As for the breakfast buffet, it had everything you'd expect, but the only downside was the lack of staff to seat or guide guests. On our first morning, we had to stand next to other tables and wait for a spot to open up 😅. Our room had a QR code for requests, and when we used it, staff were very quick to help with any issues. The only minor flaw was some dust in the room; I actually felt a bit itchy the first night. We were in the East Wing, which honestly felt more like a serviced apartment than a hotel, yet they didn't even provide dish soap 😅😅.
GGuest UserThe 3 bedrooms with 2 bath rooms unit is spacious and has a good view. Cleanliness can be improved especially the entrance area.
Common bath shower door can’t be closed fully causing the outside floor very wet. Shower area water flow down the drain very slowly causing some flooding.
Many facilities are available but only used the gym n it’s spacious n well equipped.
Location is convenient with supermarket and many food options. Check in and out is easy. Overall it’s a pleasant stay with my family.
TTzeXuanOur stay at Sheraton Desaru Coast Resort was absolutely delightful. The hotel boasts a beautiful environment with a modern yet comfortable design. Our room was clean and spacious. While it's a bit of a walk from the beach, the price was truly a steal. The staff were friendly and professional, making us feel right at home. The breakfast selection was extensive and of good quality. Overall, the atmosphere was very relaxing, perfect for families or a short getaway.
TTentenAmaiodinThe unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook.
The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm.
Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.
