St. Paul Ibirapuera Park is located in the southern suburbs of the city, covering an area of 1.6 million square meters, like the "green lung" of the metropolitan center, providing fresh air for the citizens. There is a large artificial lake, group sculptures and several museums in the park. It is one of the world's famous big parks. It was built to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the city of St Paul.
