Sono Belle Jeju

Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one was by far the cleanest. Every corner was spotless, even cleaner than some hotels I've experienced in Japan. The service was very efficient; check-in and check-out were quick, and they even gave us a lot of instant noodles. The bath and hand towels were a bit old, so I'd recommend bringing your own, and you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and slippers. The bedding, however, was quite nice, soft, clean, and new – though the pillows were a bit too soft.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk to the famous Hamdeok Beach. The breakfast spread is amazing, with smoked salmon that our whole family loved! The service was also great, and there was a front desk staff member who spoke English. Our ocean-view family room offered a beautiful sea view right from the bed, which was incredibly relaxing. The hotel facilities are standard, but the cleanliness was impeccable. Just a heads-up, if you're staying for two nights or less, the hotel doesn't provide cleaning services.

Stayed in a sea-view suite, and the balcony offered a direct view of the stunning 'jelly sea' – watching the sunrise was incredibly therapeutic. The convenience store and bus stop downstairs were very close, making it easy to get around. The room itself was tidy, but the only downsides were that the facilities were a bit old, and the hygiene wasn't great. The drain was clogged and took a long time to fix.

I booked this hotel on a whim right before my trip. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and it's a hotel with great value for money. They even gave us four buckets of Samyang instant noodles! 🍜

Before, when I read reviews for this hotel, I saw some comments saying it was old and the hygiene was just so-so. I was debating whether to switch to this hotel mid-trip. But because the location is great, right by Hamdeok Beach where you can go for a swim, I decided to go for it. My stay experience: The room wasn't old and was clean. They gave us four cup noodles for free at check-in, which we picked up from the hotel's mini-mart. Guests staying at the hotel get a discount on the grilled pork set meal at the restaurant on the first floor of Building C, so we added cold noodles and steamed egg. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and the water was better than I expected (even on a cloudy, showery day when I took photos). There were little crabs and fish. The only downside is that the bed was small, so one of us had to sleep on the floor as a family of three. Overall, it's great value for money and definitely worth staying at.

Choosing Sono Belle Hotel for our family trip to Jeju was an excellent decision – it made traveling with kids a breeze! The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Hamdeok Beach. The gentle slopes and small waves make it super safe for kids to play in the sand and wade in the water, and it's easily accessible even with a stroller. Our ocean view room offered a fantastic vista, with a balcony directly facing the beautiful blue sea and sky. Waking up to the sunrise and enjoying the sea breeze in the evening made for incredible photos. The room itself was spacious and clean. The family room had ample space and came with a separate kitchen and a refrigerator, which was incredibly convenient for preparing baby food and warming milk. We even received a complimentary Korean meal kit upon check-in, which was easy to make and a lovely touch. The amenities are very family-friendly: free parking, stable WiFi, and a souvenir shop in the lobby. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. Although there isn't a dedicated kids' club, the beach and surrounding walking paths offer plenty of opportunities for kids to burn off energy. Overall, it offers great value for money and is an ideal choice for a family vacation in Jeju.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the beach, just a 5-minute walk away. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, with many popular restaurants. The garlic bread at the bakery across from the hotel is especially delicious. Our room came with a kitchen, which was very convenient for cooking simple meals like corn and eggs for the baby. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and the cleaning service was just average.
