Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach

The room was fantastic! I was a bit worried it might be old before I arrived, but it was completely new with modern facilities. The bedding was also spotless. I'm usually quite sensitive to the humidity and insect issues often found on islands, but at Meliá, I could confidently open my luggage without fear of ants or other bugs, which really enhanced the comfort. The whole hotel atmosphere is great – you could easily just stay in and not even leave. We stayed for four nights, celebrating my child's birthday, and the hotel decorated the room, making my child very happy. For a price of just over a thousand [currency unit not specified, assuming RMB or similar for context], I personally think it's excellent value, much better than the EDITION in Haitang Bay. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Phuket.

The facilities are excellent, with a variety of activities available from morning till night, catering to both adults and children. The staff are all incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces. It was my child's birthday, and I had emailed the hotel in advance; they thoughtfully provided simple decorations and a small cake, which was a lovely touch. The room was also very clean and well-equipped. You can enjoy various beach activities like wading, digging for sand, searching for marine life, and snorkeling. I heard there's an elephant sanctuary nearby, but we didn't get a chance to visit this time. We'll definitely check it out on our next stay!

Basically, we stayed in the hotel and didn't go out to eat at other restaurants. The hotel offers many dining options, and the food is delicious. The service is excellent, and all the staff are very friendly. A perfect stay experience.

Merrin Marriott truly exceeded my expectations! First off, I was able to check in before 1 PM (other hotels usually make you wait until 3 PM). They also surprised my child with a birthday cake and gifts (a teddy bear, an elephant charm, and even a bathrobe when we checked out). Almost all the staff were lovely and kind (with a few exceptions). Plus, the hotel beach is perfect for kids who love exploring the tide pools in the morning and evening! I'd definitely choose this place again. A first-floor room near the kids' pool would be even better for families with children!

Our stay was incredibly satisfying. The hotel offers many free activities for kids every day, the breakfast spread is excellent, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Traveling to Phuket with my family, the facilities at the Merlin Marriott were excellent and the service was quite good. Although there are no shopping malls nearby, there's a shuttle bus to Jungceylon, or ordering takeout is very convenient. The breakfast at the hotel offers a wide variety of options, and my kids loved it. The swimming pool is clean, and the hotel's beach view is also beautiful. Looking forward to coming back again!

Marriott truly lives up to its reputation! The service and facilities were outstanding. My child was over the moon with joy. On our last night, we dined at the hotel's Thai restaurant, and they even treated us to some delicious ice cream. We're definitely coming back next holiday – I absolutely love Thailand!

This is my third time staying here, and I still love the pool access rooms. The service has been consistently good over the years. However, during my 5-day stay, there was constant banging and booming from upstairs during the day, which was a bit disruptive to my vacation.
