When we checked out, they claimed the towels were lost and wanted to deduct from our deposit. We went to the room to discuss this, and their attitude was terrible. After a few minutes of conversation, they insisted they had sent new towels and left them outside, but we were out early and back late and had no idea new towels had been sent. Since we were in a hurry to catch our ferry, we figured we'd just pay the price and let it go. Then a female staff member yelled at us very aggressively, her attitude extremely rude, insisting we wait a moment. In the end, they took their time deducting the money, wasting about ten minutes of our time, leaving us with only 400 yuan of our deposit (they didn't give us a receipt, and we don't remember if it was 2000 or 3000 yuan). The hotel's location is also terrible. The nearest 7-Eleven is a long walk away, there are hardly any restaurants, the surrounding area is desolate, and it's very difficult to get a taxi. Each room only gets one bottle of free water per day, and one room's shower was broken. I absolutely regret booking this place! It's the first time I've ever encountered a staff member yelling at a customer like that—I'm speechless!
