I honestly think this is the best place to spend the night. It sits right above the well known Tea Horse guesthouse, but has much better, completely unobstructed views. In the morning, you can immediately begin your hike towards Tina's guesthouse, from where you then take the bus to Lijiang or Shangri-la. The hotel owner was happy to help us sort the bus tickets - they called the driver and we had our seats reserved within minutes. Also, the next day they were kind enough to transport our big bags to the bus station, while we hiked there - I cannot say how nice and helpful they were! And the view from the room - see the photos yourself. And absolute hidden gem of Tiger leaping gorge this place!

This guesthouse is located at the highest point near the Tea Horse Inn, offering fantastic views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from the window. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and even made us breakfast and drove us to our hiking trail.

The mountain views are absolutely stunning, and the owner is incredibly understanding and down-to-earth. The home-cooked meals she prepares are so comforting and delicious, made with really high-quality ingredients. We even had some leftover chicken soup from dinner, and she kindly made us complimentary noodles with it for breakfast. It was truly a delightful experience!

The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, with a great view directly facing the snow-capped mountains. There's also an observation deck, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperative. The dinner and breakfast options were a bit limited. The road conditions weren't good; for self-driving, I recommend a car with good traction and strong power.

The view at this hotel was amazing. It offered a peaceful escape yet was easily accessible to the famous Teahorse Guesthouse for coffee and food. Owner offered dinner and breakfast for a fee as well and was kind enough to upgrade our room upon arrival. We arrived at noon from our hike and was able to check in early as well.

The view from the bed is wonderful. Louis Vuitton tiles and gold grout on the floor (seriously!), clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, I kept hearing additional noises from the corridor and the courtyard. The service wasn't very caring or attentive. You'll spend a lot of money on the stay, and still pay extra for everything.
