Dongdan Park

Dongdan Park is located on Dahua Road, Dongcheng District, on the west side of Chongwenmen Inner Street, originally known as Dongdadi Military Training Field, built in 1955, with an area of 3.98 hectares. The four words "Dongdan Park" were written by Comrade Guo Ruomo in 1963. The north of the park is a soil mountain made of dug shelters. The mountain is densely wooded and has a hexagonal glazed tile pavilion; there are pools, water rafts and children's playgrounds in the south; there are rockery and squares in the east; there are corridors and caves in the west. There are more than 8,000 trees planted in the park.

Today, I made a special trip to Dongdan Park. I wanted to run five kilometers inside, but I found that the inside was surprisingly small, and basically people resting on the benches inside. The sports atmosphere was not strong.

The yellow flowers of Dongdan Park give this small street garden a living. Dongdan Park is on the south side of Chang'an Street in Dongdan, Beijing. Before liberation, the location of the sports venue in Dongdan is the airport. The film and television dramas about the liberation of Beiping depicted here. After liberation, it was built as a park and stadium.

Dongdan Park is on the southwest side of Dongdan intersection in Beijing. It was part of Dongdan Airport before liberation. After liberation, it was built as Dongdan Sports Center and Dongdan Park. Although there are no flowers and green leaves in the winter of Dongdan Park, the scenery is very beautiful if it is snowy.
