The approach is lined with ginkgo trees and private houses, and there is a shrine at the back. There is a monument to the dedication of the approach, and the history is known. In October, the mikoshi parade at the festival is one of the fun for children.
It is a shrine that feels like a residential area in Sabae city. The approach extends in contact with the roadway. The site was slender and had a narrow shoulder. Still, it may be the guardian around here, and the precincts were very clean.
Koadachi Hachiman Shrine is a shrine located in Nishinogawa 2-chome, Sabae City, Tokyo. It is a small shrine in a residential area, but the approach is surprisingly long. I saw a place (park, etc.) named "Koadachi" near here. I wondered if it was a shrine that is cherished by the locals.
The date of its foundation is unknown, but it is said that it was a guardian shrine in Koadachi Village, and it is recorded in the land survey book during the Genroku era. It is said that it was listed as a village shrine in 1897. Despite the residential area, the long approach tells the oldness of history, but some of the ginkgo trees planted along the approach are broken from the trunk and painful 々.
After passing through the Sesseragino River Road, which reproduces the former irrigation canal, a short walk will bring you to the shrine. There are houses around the approach, and it doesn't have much taste. The shrine was small and it looked like a guardian of the village. But it will be crowded with summer festivals.
