Lianhua Temple is a famous place in Kyoto to enjoy red leaves, but in early spring and hot summer, this is a place where fewer tourists come to stop. When you see so many temples, surrounded by hundreds of tourists, but here is a fresh air, so quiet and quiet. Looking at the stream and garden on the mat, looking at the green leaves, slowly enjoying tea and tea biscuits, sitting quietly in front of the Buddha statue, as if hidden in a huge ornate cabinet, as if not seen for hundreds of years.

Speaking of you may not believe it, I walked Yuyinshan Road through the back door of the Liuliguang Courtyard and found Lianhua Temple on the way to the village to find the station. I also browsed the Yuyin Shrine on the mountain. The Lotus Temple is very beautiful, and then I went to the three houses next door. Yasaka Palace... It’s just messing around.
Lianhua Temple is a relatively niche place in Yasaka area outside Kyoto. You can take bus 16 near "Sanjo Jingyu". There are few tourists in the temple and you can watch the beautiful scenery.
It is one of my favorite temples in Kyoto. I visited in early autumn, but there were few people and I was able to monopolize the Japanese garden for about 30 minutes.
Take the 17th road from Kyoto Station, get off early on the way to Liuliguangyuan to visit Lianhua Temple. Tickets 400, small and very quiet, like to sit quietly in it, very comfortable
Super beautiful, very small temple, see ginkgo on the bus, hurry up and get off, really not disappointed, beautiful~
