The place where Foguang Lake is located, originally known as the "rotten fields rush", used to be all muddy fields, can not grow much crops, has been a headache for local farmers. In 1993, Huayi Tourism Development Company took a fancy to this place and began to repair water storage between the mountains, which became Foguang Lake. Later, they raised fish and shrimp in the lake, and they cut off the land link between the lake center island and the back mountain, making it an island. There are food and living, and Foguang Lake gradually attracted birds to come.
